Actually, hurrah for the interwebs.. he thinks he's got the locale ahead. This will be easy!

Okay, new Orleans isn't perhaps the place with the most homicides... even in the US... but it's got a rep. And they are not in the best part of town. It's dark.. making them wonder where the hours went.

At least it's a bit warmer, and he can put away the kitten mittens! "It should be this way..." Leading.

This is a bad part of the town. Decay, rot, .. people are on the streets, a homless guy is peeing on a wall...

A disdainful look away. He might be gross, but Symon's grotesqueries have... class.

A closed rehab clinic has a woman shaking against the door, as if willing it to suddenly open again, to be there for her.

She follows Symon. A frown at the woman.

Banality is in her bones, addiction leaves little room creativity, but she's fighting it. It's just, with the clinic closed.... it's a harder fight

She chews on her lower lip.

A car pulls up, a slim man in his thirties leans out, "Looking cold baby. Maybe Ican set you up" he is not talking to Dagmar or Symon

He frowns, and brushes Dagmar's arm.

"No.. no.. I'm going clean" The woman says

Whispering up to his friend. "It might be better than being outside for the night. But..." Gumming at his lip. He reaches into his pocket, checking by feel, counting how much cash Vali had given them.

"Baby, you don't need to go clean, you need what you need and you'll feel fine" he assures "And I can get it for you.. you know how barter works? Think of me as the man who can help you barter what you have for what you need"

"Fuck off!" She shouts at the guy.

Symon is a bit surprised at the sudden vehemence. Apparently something struck a nerve. He moves to her side and shows the guy his tiny knife. "Drive away now or I'll slash your tires." His voice soft to the mortal ears, but his eyes hard.

"You little shits, who do you think you're fuckingw ith?" The man says "I'll shoot your punk asses.." And his hand goes to his jacket in what is meant to be a threatening manner!

The woman says "No, please.."

"Get bent. Keep driving."

Maybe it's cheating to be brave with Dagmar at your side, but he stays put as well.

Sliding out his phone, tilted towards the man. He could take a pic or a video, or dial the cops...

The guy flashes a hateful look at both, but the threat of the phone puts it over "You little shits better be gladd I got better ways to spend my night" And hee drives off

"Symon, is there Knight's Heart here?"

He dials up the app, checking.

"Thanks" the lady says "But you shoulnd't stikc around. he's got people"

"You shouldn't stick around, either."

"Let us put you up for the night. Gotta be a motel or something."

A nod at Symon.

"DOn't give me money I'dd.. i'd just blow it" she explains

"Then I'll book a room online." He answers.

Multi-tasking, checking for the Fae uber as well as a decent place nearby. More focus on nearby.

Texting Vali - does he know any Liam in Nola?

He taps anxiously on the side of his phone case, then adds to his unusual ride request, Plus cash bonus if you ensure they go in.

"Sy, find a place?"

"Vali can send someone..."

"Working on it..." He nods.

He finds one.. an a response TXT:_ Hell. I'll geet her there_

He gives a thumbs up to Dagmar, and books a room at the motel, showing her the name. A wince as he uses Ann Marie's credit card. Please don't let her get the wrong idea...
