Dagmar's eyes widen.

"You have a name to call me by, perhaps two.. how chould I call you both?"

He bows lower when it comes into sight. Just a touch but noticeable! “I’m called Symon. My mom named me Seong-min, but I took a use name that’s the same for both worlds. It seemed easier at the time. My best friends name is her own to give.”

"I'm Dagmar. Pleased to meet you, ma'am." She's trying!

"Seong-Min, Dagmar... you are welcome in this place." She tilts her face, "But I must ask you do not talk too much about Dokkaebi."

"Sluagh and trolls aren't either known for being talkative."

“I met a Dokkaebi once. Or I thought I did. He claimed to be... but he was an echo, perhaps.”

"Dokkaebi chimera come in many forms... and some kithain born of Korean heritage take the title Dokkaebi even if you would call them Pooka, redcaps, or whatever.. you see, it is the best way to hide, by clouding the waters with too many ripples. Are there Dokkaebi? Yes . What are they? Well, that depends on who is asking" A sly smile that on THAT visage is..something

He smiles. “You speak in riddles, Miss Pocky-Sue. But not like a pooka, I can see the truth underneath. We’re seeking a map that we were told might be found here. At least, a piece of one.”

"Ah," She nods "Had you asked for a map I would have had a dozen to choose from, but one that is only a piece? I know exactly what you mean. " A sigh "So th purple star warrior seeks it out? It must be time"

A little brow furrow. "He said it's to help. For something good, not just.. y'know, vainglory."

"I do not doubt this" Truth "I shall get it for you..."

“He sent us to you. Or in this direction at least. A silver star helped us find the rest of the way.”

She moves to a collection of shelves "You should watch out for the silver stares, if their knowing were bellies they would never be full. But we do not triffle with the Mistress of the Gates. Her power is ... strong. "

A nod. “Haven’t met her, but was warned not to... well, to be polite to her, at least.” He looks along the shelves... window shopping a bit.

"I met her. She's... yeah. A lot."

Holy crap! Taxidermed Chimera! Pickled Phoenix talon.

He admires! Yet, stuff he likes. Maybe not good Yule gifts for the mum.

That three tailed lizard though.... COOL.

And there are more standard wonders to be found... if standard is the term... an astrolabe, of course of Korean design, made of bronze. A statuette shaped like a swan folding in ot itself

He points out neat things to Dagmar as he sees them!

And if you stare at the swan, it seems like a fractical effect, swans on swans on swans

Then the chime clanks.. as if warning that thsi is n't going to be harmonious

Turning to look at the door...

And he sees the Chimera... they don't look Korean, but they do look hollywood

Dagmar sizes up the newcomers.

For those that have seen a certain movie... they are known. For those that haven't, they seem to be Chinese in style, and ..with a film quality. They crackle with eelctricity

One of them speaks "Miss Pock-Sun... Lo Pan requires the map"

Miss Pock-Sun sighs and mutters "Because of COURSE dreamers get it muddled."

“Trouble?” He whispers, edging closer to Dagmar... and to the lady who knows where the map is.

"Big China in Little Korea" the woman says and whispers "they seek what you seek. I know not why but I know that"

“If we take it, maybe the trouble follows us and out of your hair.” He offers, whispering back.

A grunt. Dagmar straightens to her full height and folds her arms.

"The storms are dangerous, they will try to kill you" She whispers

"Men are SPEAKING woman" One says. Proving misogynies is not restricted to the West

“Do you have a back door?” He eyes them , whispered conversation happening quickly. “If they get it, then we have to fight them on their terms...”

"Try."

"Please, Three Storms, I have told you, " Miss Pock-Sun says "Lo Pan is not welcome here..." She smooths her outfit..and in the motion points to her belt

Symon sees that a tiny scrap of map in her belt

One of hte 'storms' moves towards Dagmar "I do not like this girl. She does not bow her head demurely"

he steps back next to her and bows LOW to the three storms. “Pardon us. We were just leaving.”

Her chin juts.

"Yes, tell your blue bitch to learn to lower her eyes, before someone shuts them" Another says

She narrows her eyes, not lowering them an inch. Or blinking.

Symon gets the item smoothly away

"Search the store..." Rain says to Thunder and Lightning

“We were just leaving. Pardon us. Out of your way.”

Symon and Dagmar can leave it seems
