Symon likely recognizes the smell-a-lie scowl.

He rolls his eyes. "Rather walk, thanks."

Symon sees this guy may whisper like a sluagh, but the dude has TEETH.. it's a fucking thallian

Dagmar only knows something is off

Dagmar looms, between Symon and the cab...

She's not sure what, but it's a threat.

His eyes narrow a touch, but he gives a thin smile back. "Thanks for stopping, cousin." He says with a sweet lisp to his whisper. "Going our way?"

"Hey,, what can I say, my bosses take their percentage"

"Sy, let's go. Ain't that bad a walk."

He hesitates. "I think we should take the ride. Wouldn't want someone else to steal our chance, right? Someone undeserving of a ride." He whispers facing towards Dagmar so his whisper is less likely to be overheard.

Dagmar drops to a whisper. "He lied to me. Something's off."

"We can probably handle him. The next person to call a ride? Maybe not." He grimaces at his own words. "Of course you can't trust him. Did you see him smile? He's only a distant cousin, at best. Thrice removed." His tongue licks pointedly over his gums in a rather gross, yet descriptive, manner.

"...Oh."

Her hands flex, nervously curling into fists and back a few times.

"Now or never, 'cuz'" The guy says

Symon whispers, "Up for it?"

Dagmar frowns. But nods.

"Just deciding who gets shotgun." He gestures to the driver. "You can run the meter." The soul of generosity, he is.

"Passengers in the back" he says

Symon slides in first, behind the driver.

Dagmar follows, tense.

They get in, the protective glass and mesh between them and the driver. "Where to?" The driver asks

Symon tells him, three miles in X direction, "We'll let you know where to stop."

"I hear you"

they drive , and then... Symon hears a click

Dagmar's hands are in fists still.

Symon subtly runs his fingertips along the edges of the mesh and the glass, looking for any gaps.

Nope, Seems air tight. Wait, why would it be AIr tight?

And he sees the guy about to flip a switch

Symon takes a breath, pushing away the unpleasantly spring-ish feelings and focusing on the crisp chill of Autumn, as he whispers a bit of sonnet and his eyes turn green, looking for a weakness in the glass.

"Like steps of passing ghosts,
The leaves, frost-crisp’d, break from the trees
And fall …"

Dagmar isn't as keen-eyed as Symon, but she's as tense as a tuned E-string.

And Symon finds it... but he's not strong enough. However if he shows DAGMAR where it is by tapping the spot? oh yeah

"Dags!" He gives the glass a thump with his thin fist in just that spot. "Break the glass!" Not taking time for explanation - Symon knows if they get gassed, he'll be out like a light.

Dagmar is NOt dim, so when the smelly gas comes in... she doesn't have to to guess

Dag doesn't question - she punches!

The gas has just started, and so is not a knock out like someone hoped as Dagmar's fist smashes THROUGH the mesh and glass

Grunt, and shake out her hand.

And any chance of sleeping the two seelie is undone

"SHIT!" The driver says. Symon can reach through now, big gap

Symon doesn't just reach through, he squirms through, going for the Bogie's neck. "Buckle up, it might get bumpy..." He hisses.

The taxi weaves and starts to lose control as he's tied in a scrawny news "No.. no holding!" A hiss

His tongue slurps out to grab and steady the wheel as he tries to press on the villain's carotid artery long enough for him to pass out... he might not be strong, but he knows anatomy...

Dagmar's eyes widen, and she protectively scoops up the chimera.

Bilbo growls and fusses

And the Boggie cuses... all grows dark ... too bad Symon can see in it
