"What a cute little bird..." Another voice, clearly a young woman's "Logo" She adds to be careful

"Hello?" Sylvi's voice calls out from the kitchenette. "Dirk, is that you?"

"Yeah, and Serenity" He says "Any muggles around?"

The redcap comes into view, red hoodie over his head, a few blood stains on one fist.

The Piskie is... at first, unimpressive enough, looks a bit like dirk in coloration.. and then that shifts... and Sylvi sees she's a very attractive girl of age 16... for a non sidhe, very much so.

"Not at the moment, we're clear." Sylvi steps into the corridor. "Serenity?" She hasn't met the new fledge, and has been a little preoccupied with other stuff.

"Oh! Hey, hi! I'm Sylvi. Good to meet you." She extends a hand.

Serenity looks positively GRATEFUL to have someone else to talk to besides Dirk "Oh, you're the make up specialist and fashionista folks are telling me to talk to"

Then a pause. "Wait. Have we met?"

A half-laugh, "Not sure I'm loving 'fashionista' but yeah, I know a thing or two."

"Oh, yeah, " SHe says "I'm laying low here to avoid my folks.." Serenity sighs then adds "Before my dance, I was Betsy Bennet from the Bennet Bunch Adventures? Online show... I was on it for... geez, was it nearly 10 years?"

A surprised blink. "Wow! I mean...yeah, I've seen it." Whatever Sylvi's opinions about the show might be, she keeps to herself. "And now you're getting to see behind a very different curtain." She gestures broadly to indicate everything fae.

She looks around "IT's lovely... but ... not as ... there as the Lodge?"

"Well, the Lodge is the baronial seat. Glad you've been there to see it. But this is a mews...a freehold that's mostly for commoners."

There's a slilghtly offended tweet

Sylvi smiles at the bird. "She doesn't mean anything bad by it."

"Oh, sorry," She says to the bird, and then to Sylvi "No not really. I'm just trying to get use to this... kenning stufff? New to it. Apologies. IT's a lovely hold and... a recording studio? Oh geez. This stuff I know"

"Yeah. We don't have the most or the best tech, but it's pretty good for people starting out and indie work. We do have more dedicated freehold area downstairs."

Dirk grabs a drink out of the vending machine, then sighs "Seriously? Prune Juice in a can? What the ..."

"Hey, that's a warrior's drink! Just ask Worf!"

'Oh geek shit" Dirk drinks

Serenity rolls her eyes at Dirk, and looks to Sylvi "Dirk has been escorting me..." A mutter "Not my choice mind you. "

"You're in good hands, then. Dirk's our Peacekeeper." A tone of confidence. "If anybody was going to mess with you, they'd end up a mess."

"He broke a guy's nose for air groping me" She confesses

"That's on-brand."

"Yeah, Sylvi... Piper's trying talk Serenity into a Purple mohawk or something" Dirk says "Can you fix her up so her style is different?"

"Not broken" Serenity says slightly offended but then she sighs "I really could use a ... something very differeent from my online image"

Oh, that got Sylvi's style-brain going. She looks at Serenity differently, taking in both the mortal mein and the fae seeming at once. A bit of a head tilt. "You usually do long layers, right?"

"YEs" She nods "And my bangs were kept whether I liked it or not because htey were 'adorable' according to my mom, dad, and the show writers" A huff

"Well, I've done bangs, but they're kind of hit-or-miss. May I?" she asks, extending a hand to feel the texture of Serenity's hair.

"Well, my hairdresser at the show says I'm..." Serenity tells her the terms used, even as Dirk's eyes glaze over. Rather silky

Sylvi touches and seems to agree with the hair dresser. "Good thickness and body. Okay, here's my suggestion." She moves the hair around to illustrate her ideas. "A close shave on the sides and an undercut in back. Leave the top long...no, Dirk, not a mohawk...and tie it back into kind of a ponytail. Mousse in the bangs to shape them up and over in a wave. Maybe some temp dye somewhere for a pop of color."

"I think I might like that. I know I like the change. ANd... yes, I was NEVER Allowed to dye my hair" She says

Dirk shrugs "Was Piper's idea I hear. The mohawk anyway. That's what Serenity said."

"Oh, then we are definitely going to do a dye job." Then a grin to Dirk. "I didn't say it was your idea, just reassuring you that it wasn't going to happen. Hey, want me to work on your hair, too, when I finish with Serenity?

"And do what" He says removing his hoodie to reveal the coarse bird's nest on his head

"Hey, dye works on tight cuts, too. Could give you a rainbow."

"PASS" He says

"Oh" A slightly uncomfortable look on Serenitys' face, then it grows ... almost annoyed, not at Sylvi or Dirk though. Then she says "It might make even YOU look good, Dirk"

A blink at Serenity. "Hey now."

Dirk snorts "My brother's an Ace, at least I think he is... so if I wear anything it'll be the full LGBT+ so he's not left out. you know the purples and lavenders and shit"

Sylvi reaches out a fist to Dirk for a bump.

Serenity looks a bit repentant. But mostly to Sylvi "Sorry, he is just so rude I thought maybe he could take what he dishes out"

The cap looks confused but takes the bump

"Dirk's blunt. He says what he thinks. I'm guessing you haven't been around a lot of people who do that. But trust me...I've heard ruder." A look to Dirk, "Has she met any nockers yet?"

"HA" He laughs at that, "Probably melt her brains. Nah, an Eshu rescued her ,then dropped her off at Dagmar's... and then she went to the lodge so mostly trolls. Oh, and Jimmy or Timmy or whatever is tutoring her some"

Serenity has to admit "I guess my environment was a bit... controlled before this" She admits "Oh I met Piper so a satyr too. I was a bit mean toher when she wouldn't turn off the fan girl. We.. we got on good footing though"

"only like two nockers around here I know of." Dirk adds "And they ain't around much"
