Dirk sees the girls toe to toe, and they aren't dancing.

"Beat it, Dirk."

Sylvi glares right back at her. "You tried to hit me because you know I'm right. And you're afraid to face it."

"Don't think so," Dirk says firmly "I'm PEACEKEEPER, Appointed by the Chief, YOUR Liege, Dagmar same lady who helped you get this freehold going, Sylvi. No fighting in a hold"

"We're not IN the hold, Dirk." Which is a fair point. The hold's technically downstairs.

Her gaze never leaving Dagmar's.

Dagmar is glaring back.

"FFft... then I don't have to do what you say and back off, do I? Now you two need to break this up, fore some mundanes wander in and get curious

"

"Well, apparently we don't care about mundanes here. Even if they're powerful dreamers. Let 'em sort it out. Right, Dagmar?"

Dirk arches a brow, on redcaps it looks more like a shaved pittbull having a twitch

And with a thunderous roar, the avalanche crashes on Sylvi.

Sylvi may be athletic, but there's only so much she can block.

She doens't have to, Dirk interposes between them even as they go crashing into each other.

Dagmar doesn't care - Sylvi or Dirk are equal targets for her fury, now. Luckily, she seems to be acting on the emotion rather than strategy - she attacks bare-handed, Flyswatter is still sheathed.

Dirk takes a lot of that attack, but the first hit still caught Sylvi hard.

Regardless, she is a troll, so she's still standing.

Dirk takes a secondary hit "Sylvi, the fuck, she's a Gwyd." And he tries to position himself , a cap trying to sheild TROLLS from each other

"Dirk, get the fuck out of the way!"

A bestial growl, a flash of teeth - Gwydion fury with Atlas' strength is no trivial matter.

She's mostly trying to soak the brunt of what Dagmar's dishing out, but yeah, that strength is no joke.

"She's beserk, she's as liable to punch me as you..." OOOF . He moves, trying to grapple her,

"Hammerstrike" is a very, very apt name.

Sylvi tries to duck under a blow and shove Dagmar up against a wall.

Her face is already cut up.

Dirk is already sporting a busted lip on his own and that was the GLANCING blow

Dirk's grapple gets lucky, leverage on his side thanks to Sylvi's aid, he manages to netrualize some of her might.... or maybe there's something in Hammerstrike not wanting to kill them

She growls with frustration, and struggles - but she's jammed into a corner, unable to get a solid stance.

Sylvi grimaces as she presses against Dagmar.

"I got her... geezus it's like playing catch with a wrecking ball in motion. Get out of here, Sylvi"

She does lash out with a wild kick or two as she struggles.

Sylvi hesitates, breathing hard.

Then she moves back. "Fine." And she stalks out of the room, into another part of the studio.

"My fucking shin" He says as the kick, while muted, still grazes. "Okay.. okay" he counts to five, making sure Sylvi gets away

The stalk is more of an angry limp

Holding on for dear life, he says "I ain't sure how this works... I surrender. You win. "

It takes some time, but the steam slowly peters out - from earthquake, to bucking bronco, to only the heaving shoulders of harsh breathing.

And then... it's gone. Dagmar presses her horns against the wall, groaning softly.

Dirk says "You win. Okay? Two on one, now one on one. If you wanted me dead, you'd have me" He says tired himself . Groveling isn't in hsi nature, but to help a fri.. err fellow warrior ... sure

then cautiously, he lets go.

Busted lip. Bruised legs and torso (Elbow swings didnt quite connect direct but shit), and he's lucky she didn't bite HIS ear off

"We done?" he asks

Released, she turns over to sit heavily on the floor.

"Uh-huh." Eyes tightly shut.

Meanwhile, Sylvi's in the bathroom, bending over the sink and murmuring a cantrip into the water there.

"I don't know why Sylvi took the stupid pills so she ended up provoking you into a rage, or whta she said, but I also know she wouldn't for no reason. Frankly ? I don't care so much as I'm PEACE Keeper. It's what I do.. So you want to talk about this?"

Her breath catches a few times, as if breathing itself hurts.

"No."

"Kay. I'm backing the fuck out so you can open your eyes and see nobody. Just... you two are friends for fuck's sake. "

She pushes up to her feet - she's relatively unhurt, just disheveled. "Yeah, well."
