"Yeah" Gerd fights a yawn "We've got a spot to squat."

"Happy to help" Gerd says. "Call us anytime" And she heads off.

Vali watches her go, then says "Thanks, Jessica. She thinks she's got things to prove but I don't see it. I think she's pretty darn amazing"

"I agree. You need to rest too."

"Right of Demense, you hear about it, but you never think it will be used against you for your own good" A chuckle "Okay. Good to see you again, Jessica. Even under these circumstances. Have a party when you guys can. You've earned it"

"I'll be sure you get an invitation." she promises. "Now go get your head down. I'm going on patrol."

"Again?" That makes him stop "Jessica. You just came back from one"

"Inside." she points out.

"Uh huh" hhe says "Okay. But don't neglect your own sleep, Please" he stressed the please part

"Vali, -you- were the one that woke me up with a tray of food, remember? I slept, I ate. I showered before that. I'm good, and I need to assess the state of the storm and the damage."

"RIght right.. and you were already awake. I know. I timed it right. Beaumayn magic. Ooooo" he makes ghosts sounds then yawns "Ok. Yeah. Hitting the hay. Safe patrol. Take someone with you will you? "

"I was planning on it. Thanks, rest well." and she goes in search of a patrol buddy.

Vali goes to sleep. And she finds...

Regent Mitra, Baroness and friend "Hi. I thought I'd come by, give you a report. But I know the look. You're about to patrol. Company welcome?"

"Hi! Sure, yes. Very welcome, come on....you need anything before we go?"

"Have sword, have rain proof jacket, wiill travel" And off they go... with a report on how the Pitt is doing
