The hurricane clean up was still on going but the worst had passed when Jessica got the visit from her father

They spend quite a bit of time closeted together, deep in conversation. When he leaves, she puts out the word that any Sidhe or Eshu matching the descriptions he gave is -invited- (firmly) to her court. Her representatives at the other Freeholds are instructed to keep a particular eye out. She also ensures the ally Nunnehi are not in want; not pushing help but it's there for them if they wish it.

Jessica never really liked the idea of spies amid the other courts, so may have a bit of trouble getting intell on some of them. Skyhold is a beehive of organized chaos, and TIdemarch keeps a firm grip on sunkissed waves. However, Mitra sends word the Pit doesn't have anyone fitting those descriptions promptly

That work done, she goes on patrol.

The nightmare strength of the storm has faded.

And it seems most in her area are .. relieved.

So she might be a bit surprised to see Murray, Storm of The Farmhold

"Storm Murray??"

"Hey, Jessica" He says cleaning some..scales?

"What brings you here?"

"Clean up, Chimerical scavenging, and recruitment" he answers

"Thanks for the help, you're welcome to anything you find, and why are you recruiting and for what?"

"Jessica you know how DeBukes work... we see someone troll blooded, we see if they'd be a good fit." he answers "We're not inbred, despite the jokes"

"Don't know how I feel about that, Storm, to be honest."

"Take it up with Clem, this isn't a new policy" He shrugs

"Mm." she might just do that "Well. If you need anything, you know where the Freehold is."

"I do" he nods

"Ok." She continues with her patrol.

There's some clean up. Some folks could use help with their homes

She makes notes on what needs doing; she'll send word to Skyhook first, see if they can spare time and workers to help.

They do have some nice construction tools

Drywall exploding powder is one they want to test

Maybe not that, though.

The dissappointment in her view can almost be felt here

Some folks wave to her "Gracias for the blankets, ours were soaked"

A smile. "Make sure you hang them out to dry in the good weather."

"And may God grant good weather is here to stay for awhile, Si?"

Jess nods agreement to the sentiment.

And off she goes.

Only to find a whisper in a corner "I don't know why you like the sun so much, it is nasty" Ahpuch has a hat on to keep it away

"Hello Ahpuch. Different tastes, I suppose. I enjoy moonlight too, though."

"Mmm yes .. before we begin negotiating, I would like a pony... taxidermied or skeletal makes no difference"

He looks completely serious

"Let's go somewhere comfortable to talk." she says after a moment.

He nods and heads towards the nearest shadowy area

"Um, Ahpuch? This is still Tijuana. Come back to Fenix with me?"

"oh.. right" He says and follows her back to Fenix

When they get there, he prepares a tea for him, a skull shaped cup, and a coffee for her "Where to begin? Oh yes, dead pony"

"Why?" she takes the coffee when offered.

"Because I know where the lady you were warned of is staying"

A blink. "I meant why do you want a dead pony but.... you do? How do you know this information?"

"I am a slaugh. That is how I know. Also, that is infomration is why you will get me a dead pony... and not just a bucket of glue, that's cheating" Firm look

"I don't intend to cheat you. I have to say, Ahpuch, I have no idea where I'd get such a thing."

"Well," He ponders "You have not been unkind. If you cannot get me one, will you get me something just as good? Something creepy, something scary?"

"Why do you want it?"

"Because it's neat " He says as if obvious "Also it might scare the girls. That's always fun"

"You know, it's one thing to scare people who need a lesson.... but to scare people just because it's fun? That's bullying, I think."

This is said mildly, without judgement.

"Pooka prank people and not just to teach them a lesson" He says offended
