"I mean... we have ways of making sure you never attack another Kithain again." she says thoughtfully "But I'm not sure where that would leave you with your people."

"returning me might have them suspect me just as much" She answers "They would wonder how much I betrayed to you. What deals were made"

"Yes" A nod "But I do not know how to advise you. I am not a leader or a wise one"

"Not that they would bother to help if I asked, I guess?"

"Do NOT betray our secrets to this invader bitch" Says the first nunehi who wounded the Baron "I have already said too much to her. To no gain"

Frothfang blinks as the other fellow speaks out, but then says to Jessica "I do not think they would help, no"

OOC did the first Nunnehi give a name ever? Not sure Jessica asked.

"Sorry, manners.... I'd introduce you but I don't know the gentleman's name; he wouldn't give it. And I guess he heard yours."

"He tried to kill me, too." she explains.

"Sadly I did not succeed" the fellow says

"You tried" She replies "For one so big, she's evasive"

"I did get one of their sidhe leader types" he says "But she tricked me into revealing a cure"

"Wait, a cure? You used the sacred cursed poison?"

"I did. It was meant for her, but it turns out his death might assit her, or so she led me to believe. Now I am not sure. Watch her. She looks big and dumb, but she is wiley" says the fellow who got Tidemarch

"Her guards are like land loving sharks" SHe nods

And Jessica is being talked ABOUT rather than to for a moment

She doesn't mind, actually.

"I'm going to let him go, in safety for all involved, once the Baron has recovered." she explains.

"So she CLAIMS" A snort from him

"I see" Frothfang ponders "You sound a bit weak to me if you let your enemies go after they have tried to kill your scouts and sub chiefs. Why would they trust you after this?"

"My scouts and sub chiefs?" she asks to clarify "Why would they trust me if I let you go?"

"Because they understand the quality of mercy. They believe in peace, as I do. And, to be absolutely honest, if the Baron fails to recover, our friend in the next cell is going to -my- chief. For study."

"Which is an option for you, too."

She nods

the door opens. Jack returns with another tray of that deliciouos food "Would you believe this was made by a ten year old girl? A boggan, of course, but really amazing work for one so young don't you think?"

"Wow, are you kidding?" Jessica is honestly impressed.

"nope. " he says "She's rather flattered at all the praise. " He offers up the tray to Jessica "You want me to see if she'd be interested in learning from Rosa and Maria?"

"Thank you." she takes it and samples "Of course, yes. Maybe a kind of a fostering or a student exchange."

"I'll see to it" A nod then a smirk "We could offer them Holger, and watch Ellie, Salma and Ariel rebel"

Jess chuckles. "Maybe not. I'm not sure how interested he is in cooking."

"A fair point. He much prefers to taste. "

Jessica is eating, and bring Jack into the conversation. "We were talking about next steps and how to return our guests home with as little risk as possible."

Jack nods "Well, I'll back your play, of course whatever it is. I frankly think the Sunkissed Waves locals will be wanting payback HOWEVER this plays out. I wonder if Nuennhi ransom for their returned braves?"

"Reason I ask is it might be a way to let them return with trust from their elders"

She turns to the warriors in questions. "Do they?"

"It has been known to happen" The redwater says

"And" Frothfang continues "It would allow us to maintain our honor when we return"

"Ok, I'm glad to consider that. How would we reach your people?"

"Your allies, traitors though they are, are Nunehi. They would know how"

"Johnny Twofeathers maybe?" Jack offers "He's not of local tribes but neither is he kithain"

She nods. "I'll ask him and Otem. When Otem gets back." she looks back to the prisoners "What should we ask for?"
