And off she goes looking

She's thinking maybe a few smallish patrols to head into those areas. So probably not Diego but more Demos and Phobos.... which would let her maybe check on the Redwater as well.

Sir Phobos is available sure

"Hi. You get our newest guest settled?"

"Yup. Big old Aquairum with some wards put up by that Baroness so she'll have trouble escaping"

"Even healed her up, boss"

"Thank you." she nods "Hey, do you have time to put together a mission?"

"Well , yeah I guess? THought you wanted us watching the bitch actually but we're upto swap sure"

"If she's secured, she shouldn't need constant monitoring, right?" checking.

Sir phobos scratches his chin, "Well, ussually you got a guard near prisoners in general... not per cell but at the main entrance or exit. Course, what WE would love to do is rough the prisoners up, but we get non redcaps don't see that as hilarious like we do so we're not doing that. Still , it's no trouble to swap. Sec." he taps away

on his phone

Soon enough, Sir Jack arrives. The Liam arches a brow "Seriously, Phobos, you called me in for guard duty into a place that doesn't like Liams?"

Phobos grins "Imagine how little I care how little they like anything. Sides, Thane Coy will swap with you later on. Bro and I got a mission"

Then the Redcap says "Ah, Boss? What IS our mission?"

"Thank you for coming, Sir Jack; if there are any issues, please inform me." she says firmly. "Phobos, I need you to get a couple small teams together and invade a small area of the mainland." and she describes what she needs to have happen in more detail.

Phobos is clearly eager to go, and in fact, the more she talks, the more his eyes light up "Wait, you want us to just.. make trouble, and piss folks off... pull back, then do it again? You maybe the best boss EVER"

"Don't get into trouble you can't get yourself out of; you know how thin we're stretched." she cautions "The idea is to be a distraction."

"No problem, Boss" A grin "I'll go tell Demos and we'll get a small group together"

"Maybe more than one; give them plenty of distraction going in different directions. If we have the people for it. And please remember, we aren't trying to pick a fight with these people. Just give Otem the best chance we can."

"Like Aragorn and crew buying time for Frodo" Jack says to Phobos

"Ffft.. do not lecture ME on the works of Professor Tolkein just because you look like an elf, Jack," Sir Phobos snorts, then looks back to Jessica "Got it."

"Thanks."

With that, Phobos heads off to tell his brother and set plans in motion.

Sir Jack watches him go, then says "So how are you liking it here at Sunkissed Barony?"

A shrug. "It's.... a bit formal. But, I hope I won't be here all that long."

"me too" a nod

"I'd like to look in on the prisoners."

Sir Jack says "Let's go then.."

They go into the prisoner area. Some of Sunkissed Waves thanes are guarding resolutely

She nods to them and goes to the first prisoner.

THe first one glares from his pen

"Are you ok? Do you need anything?"

glare!

"Is he always this talkative?" Jack asks

A sigh. "Sometimes he curses and spits."

Sir Jack chuckles but his eyes are sad, "Well, you try."

"Exactly." then, to the prisoner "Just checking in. We're still waiting for the correct items to make the antidote, but we're going as fast as we can. I'll keep you updated."

Sullen glare

"Ok." she moves on.

The next one is healed from her bite... and is in something of an aquarium. The water is red as blood as if she makes it so

"Are you doing ok? Do you need anything?" she makes the same offer.

"I am fed but I could use more"
