She does not enter the house, but waits outside.

Ironically, Jessica realizes SHE has a pen. A blue ink one.

She hesitates to offer it, based on how he might react.

So she waits, and he finds one of his own, and scrawls fast

"What will you do with them now?"

"With them?" A confused look "The papers?"

"Yes."

"Here, you give them to her, just ..call off your demons" He hands them over to you "Let me sleep a dreamless sleep, I beg you"

She takes the papers and looks them over.

She suspects the Sluagh had a hand in this, the paperwork was all set up , with clear instructions and everything

She nods. "I will see she gets these papers. What she does with them, you will respect." this is a statement of future events.

"Si ,yes, Yo comprehendo just get away from me"

"What will you do if you cannot control your urge to do violence to others?"

"I will withdraw from people.. .go home" He says "I signed the papers, what more do you want???"

"And you will put a flag out the window to let me know, and you will be given the chance to work that urge out safely. Do you understand?"

"Better that, than you hit someone else again and I have to return, si?"

"Even a towel will do. I will be watching and I will know."

He curls up on the floor "Si si.. I'll be good. I'll be good. Send the toothless demons away..."

wow, they really did a number on him

"Shhhhh....." she tries to be comforting, at least in tone "You've had a terrible gift given you. It's over now. You're free. Prove yourself worthy of that freedom over time, and perhaps a wonderful gift will be yours. As terrifying as your nightmares can be... so can your dreams be delightful. I can see to it."

"send.. them..away"

It would appear at this point the best comfort she can offer is an end to the hauntings

"Unless you transgress, you will not see them again." she assures him.

"Good good.. .I want to go to sleep now then"

"You will give me the gun first."

"I can't touch it.. the whispers. told me." he does point to it though, where it lays, untouched

She nods. "May I enter and take it away?"

"Yes yes.. take it away"

She enters the house and takes the gun; she makes sure it's safe, and wraps it in a towel to carry away.

A Dish towel is handy and nearby

That works.

She goes back to the door, and exits. "Seek peace in your bed, and you will find it." she predicts.

And he retreats to sleep ...hopefully dreamless

It looks like the crew around her is about half gone, but Coy shows up "Son of a bitch quick silvered to get away... but we have a piece of his clothing that got lboodied" He offers it up "Tito maybeable to trail him"

"Let's head back then. Anyone good with firearms?"

"A few are decent with it" A nod "Had to learn how to use a rifle on the farm"

They head back, and she is pretty sure she's not followed this way either

She hands off the dish towel to someone who knows what they are doing.

And.. she waits for reports and news. But at least one woman is safe, and one man the wiser
