Olgar looks it over, "Huh, uh thanks, Seer"

"Symond, Tito-Woden....everything ok here? Need anything?"

"Uhm we were thinking of getting food from the kitchen" Tito looks to Symond

Symond shrugs "SOme grub maybe but that's not YOUR job , boss"

She nods "The ladies just fed us and made some for Un.... Rover Olgar to take to Rivervale so there's probably plenty."

Olgar smiles but only a little

"Holy shit, your face could curdle milk" Symond observes "You want me to make you an aztec mask?"

"Nah," Olgr offers "Might scare the wife"

"Symond does do excellent mask work."

"Seriously? Huh. I may call you back around before Samhain" He says

"Oh, furk yeah, sure. Boss lady here doesn't much care for that holiday but she can attest I do good shit" Symond nods proudly

"She does."

Olgar nods "Not surprised by your dislike of Samhain, Jess. And thanks Symond, I may drop by for a mask job." A look at the list "And this list should help, Seer." A nod then a look to Jessica, "You got fast working people here"

"We're at war; guess we have to be. Thank you both."

"No furking problem"//"ALways happy to show how amazing I am" They nod and close the door

Olgar looks at her, "War? I thought you guys had avoided the war?"

Jess looks at the door, puzzled, and then turns to Olgar. "Well... locally yes. But the mainland Nunehi aren't onboard with peace here. From what I understand, they feel we're still enemies and the locals who have allied with us are traitors. So.... "

"Ah, so you're in that 'alls quiet on the western front' kind of vibe. Shit. Sorry kiddo. Maybe I shouldn't recruit here. You might need every troll you can get "

"Oh, we have Nunehi allies, locally, and we're still doing some mixed patrols. Over the objections of some of the local elders but... Oh, and I'm trying to get the childlings together to interact and play and tone down the rhetoric and venom."

"Okay, well, diplomacy is one area I can't help much with. I admit, but I'll try to make sure any rovers in your area don't treat all Nunehi as the enemy"

"I'd appreciate that. One of the key contentions...." she leads him back up towards the kitchen for his food "... is access to their sources of Glamour, and ours. If I can't protect that for them, get them that access, we're going to slide backwards real fast. I guess that includes access to the Dreaming."

"Nunhei have their own ways into realms besides trods, Spirit arts they don't share" He says "Mystery to most of us."

"But I yeah, we'll do what we can to keep the peace here too." Olgar chuckles at something despite the serious issue

"Thank... what?"

"Just ah, how busy my semi retirement is keeping me" He admits

"I owe the wife some flowers... weekly at this rate"

"I don't mean to make extra work for you Uncle Olgar...."

A sharp knock on the door.

"Ffft, you? Hardly. I do it to myself., I see a problem and want to fix it. Freaking curse of our kith for some of us"

Jess looks to the (open) door of the kitchen, where they've ended up next to boxes and bags of food-to-go courtesy of the Ladies.

They may have to look down to see who is there. Salma, looking a little nervous, she gives a quick but proper curtsey to the Countess. "Condesa Yessica, there is something that I must say!"

"Looks like you got business, Jessica" Olgar grunts to Jessica as the little pooka appears

"Of course Selena. Oh,this is my Uncle Olgar. Olgar, this is one of our librarians, Selena."

"My business, she is with you, Senor Olgar." She says daringly, though obviously she is a bit intimidated by the craggy-faced man.

Olgar looks surprised as Salma pipes up, he lowers into a crouch so the kid can be a bit closer to eye level though.. really he still looms "Oh yeah? What business is that?"

Jess rests a hand on Olgar's shoulder; not unlike Kerri might do to caution.

She swallows hard. "You! You cannot take him! Holger is m- he is OURS."

"You cannot carry him off to be a rover. I will not stand for it, no!" A stubborn stamp of a hooved donkey foot.

Jess blinks. And looks at Olgar. "Holger's off the list." she says simply.

A brow lift on that blighted face, "I met Holger. Dedicated, kind of super serious about his duties... you sure about this? he'd make a good one. Looks like the sort who is ready to protect travelers from danger. Could earn glory and honor on his wide and far travels. I mean, the life of a rover isn't easy but he seems to like challenges"

From the side of his face he shoots Jessica a wink that Salma can't see

"What is glory, compared to what home has to offer?" Her ears droop a bit, and she can't help but answer that herself, pooka leaking out. "The Churros, that is. On the road, he does not have his... churros by his side. And if the... the churros need to be defended, we know he is always here to protect... them!"

Jess frowns, channeling her father. Which is weird with her Kerri-hand still on his shoulder.

Olgar seems to consider this, thinking it over, before nodding at the child, "Churro protection is important. In fact, one could argue that's a valued niche in troll society.... I mean, without Churros he might get lonely"

"You may take Ah-puch, if you wish." She offers, in an appeasing tone. "Or if only blue shall do, the DeBukes, si? They grown them in fields aplenty. But of Holger, we have only ONE."

"Your generous nature to hand me your cast offs is noted, thank you" Deadpan, then just as somber, "Very well' He rises slowly, Jessica's hand going up as his shoulder does, and he makes a note on the list "I will spread word through out the lands , to all Rovers everywhere, that for 10 years, Holger is to be let be from recruiters of the knights of the way. That his position here is too important , too vital to churro security to mess with. After that ten years, when he is a wilder, we may approach him again. Should I put you down as his agent and career representive, Salma?"

She considers this, and nods solemnly. "I accept."

"Wise, Selma. And thank you, Uncle Olgar." she drops her hand.

She looks much relieved!
