(The morning after the sluagh ladies visit a certain man's sleep....)

Jess is extra alert walking down a particular street in her demense, approaching a specific shack... er, house. She observes it for a time, looking for activity or clues as to the situation within. She's had her report from the ladies to arm her.

"He's a wreck" A whisper

She nods.

"Any danger to me within?" she asks softly.

The good sister says "nay, his gun has promised to kill him if he touches it.. it whispers to him too"

"He got another?" she lifts an eyebrow, not looking at the speaker but at the house.

"He did. We know who provided it to him if you wish"

"I'll take the information, with thanks, yes. Althought I'm not sure .... I'll look into it. Thank you."

She settles her shoulders "I'm going to pay him a third visit."

"You may want to let it simmer a bit, we just finished working with him with full intensity. He might be moved to suicide if pressed to hard. And, as you know, that's a sin"

"How long, do you think? I thought it would be safe by morning...."

"I am sorry, COuntess we didn't know you'd do a third visit, our ..efforts were prolonged'

"No, it's ok. But... how long should I wait, do you think?"

"Till noon, the sun will be bright and shining , if any part of him dismisses it as just a terrible nightmare... that will be when he FEELS strongest. That is when you can show him no, it's all very real and the Brujah Azula watches"

She nods. "Ok. I'll wait. Thank you." And then she judges how much time that will be.

She's got about 4 and a half hours to kill

Enough time for a patrol in the area. Won't hurt if he gets word she's been around, and she does have her maul with her. Off she goes.

With talks of pet moles and more, life is not as ideal as she hoped, but she always takes comfort in patroling.

Jesssica doesn't see or hear anything out of the ordinary. Daylight hours may ahve dangers but the criminal element of mortals is less bold

And so she patrols.

the spies on her report to their masters.. .not that she knows that.

the spies lodge a protest for being talked about beyond the 4th wall when the dice favored them.

deal with it, says the ST.. an continues on

She sees Duff outside his shop, and .. he nods, not .. distant... not as warm as before but with a silent acceptence that wasn't there before "Good morning" He says simply

"Morning. All is well?"

"No," He admits, then approaches her, "THings are fine with me, but you should know there's a new gun dealer in town. I don't have a name or even location yet, just soemone is taking up slack I've left off. I'm not surprised, but whoever it is, they're sloppy, selling to junkies or the like at surprisingly cheap rates"

She takes this in, and doesn't seem particularly surprised. "Ok. Thank you for mentioning. This guy got a name?"

"I'm sure he does, but I don't have it.. yet"

She nods. "If you want to forward that along, it might help. Anything else?"

"Nothing else negative" He says and seems to consider it, "The guide who helped us in those cliffs a few years ago? He's getting married. I tattooed his wife to be's name on him. Must be true love"

She nods. "Give him my best when you see him. If you want."

"I will. You want some bottled water for your patrol?"

"Thanks."

He gets her a cold bottle and hands it to her "Hope all is peaceful, I know you prefer it that way"

"Some issues here and there but otherwise, I'm generally satisfied. Let me know if you need anything." she cracks the water, drinks, and (if he says nothing) patrols on.

He merely nods , and off she patrols again

Finally, the sun hits the mid point and she thinks it counts as noon

She'll check, to be safe, and head back to the target house.

By the time she gets there it's definitely noon. She approaches

As quietly or openly as she likes

She pauses again in an abundance of caution, watching for a few minutes for any sign of trouble in the making.

At this point, she realizes, someone is watching her. Not from within the house, but further back. She turns to see a figure , male? Satyr? She can't make out details but whoever has horns

As much as she wants to make this (hopefully final) visit, she can't risk the man. She knows there's a target on her. Frustrated, but with a stoic mein, she heads back on patrol to Fenix. The direct route. She'll send someone to watch the watcher.

She makes her way back, though the tail may or may not have noticed a shift in her patrol. She can try to make this look natural but she's never been an actress
