Actually, she made it look pretty natural, fake a text, turn paths... yeah, that works

And when she gets to Fenix, whoever is after her does not follow

And into the abandoned spa she goes.

Coy DeBuke greets her, the thane nods "How goes, Flame free?"

"Mmph." a rare show of frustrated crankiness.

"not well. Can I help somehow?"

"I think I need a patrol party to come out and shadow me. I have business and I don't want a tail. They handle the tail, I handle business. Can you put a group together?

A nod "Right away" He nods "We'll beat the bushes so to speak"

"Let's meet here and discuss." she counters. As Coy moves off, she drinks her water.

Soon a group of thanes is ready, about 5 of them. Coy one of them, of course

Also chosen is Demos, who has a pretty good sniffer by redcap standards

"I'm being followed. I know that someone means me harm. The one following me that I saw had horns; troll, saytr, or something else, I don't know. So. I'm going out on a matter of business. Also bait. You follow and keep an eye out for me. Someone's following me, try to capture them. Don't let them stop or hurt me. Don't let them see where I'm going. Any questions?"

"Which one is our priority if we have to pick between capturing them or covering where you're going?"

"How much can we hurt this guy if we catch him?"

"What's the fastest land animal on Earth?" Asks the pooka

"Split up and try to cover both objectives but if you can't, catch them. Don't hurt him more than absolutely necessary. The cheetah, I think."

The pooka who is a cheetah pooka, grins "YES, affirmed"

The others nod, and ready to follow her

"Give me a head start, so they can pick up my trail again."

And off she goes; the long way back to the house.

Her thanes are practiced and professional, disciplined, even the redcaps... so they space it out

For awhile, she moves along taking her meandering path, and finding the tail, if there is one, seems impossible.

But then, a cheetah walking by them (veiled to not alarm mortals) sniffs the air, and ZIPS after the target

And while that chase is on, The Countess can go undisturbed where she likes

She doesn't change course immediately, but begins to gradually go more directly back to the house. Again, she stops to observe before charging in.

In which case, she approaches the door and knocks.

"No.. "A groan "Whatever who ever.. It's not a .." the door opens "Time?" He looks like hasn't slept in days, which is probably the case

"Hola."

"You..." he jumps back a bit "Fine fine.. I'll sign the divorce papers just.. just call your demons off"

"Your wife has sent divorces papers." she says.

"Yes yes.." He waves them around

"Sign them."

He puts them down on a counter and searches for a pen
