It takes a moment, but then Jess appears, curious. "Uncle Olgar? Are you ok, is everything alright? Rivervale?"

He gets shushed as the boggans keep working.

Olgar blinks, and looks over at Jessica and mmphs ("Did they just shush me?")

She shrugs. ("Stay in your lane.")

He looks more amused than annoyed and sees her point. He nods then asks her "Also hoping to spread word the Rovers are recruiting. Looking for wilder trolls hoping to take up the long roads"

"Just trolls?"

"It's a troll society, Jessica, others can take up the road, obviously, but the Knights of the Way is an ancient troll soceity . We recruit just trolls because we know our own kith's nature, limits and more. "

She nods. "Ok."

Rosa looks over "You two aren't going to eat the food we're making now?"

"It's actually a meal to go" Olgar says politely, by his standards

"... but we could have a snack, right, Uncle Olgar?"

"Right" Olgar says seeing the eyes narrow on the women, then relax as Jessica mentions the compromise

"He came here especially for your food, ladies."

"Well, that IS high praise from the husband of a hearth" Maria admits

"I confess, I was hoping to give my wife the night off from cooking, she works hard" Olgar says "So I thought for once I could get dinner for others and she could join us at the table right away instead of ..."

"Oh" Rosa says "That's so precious!"

"Not the word I'd use for it" Olgar says, while a feminist ogre, he still isn't used to being called 'precious'

"But it is, and you are, you are a wonderful Esposo, senior Olgar. Let's get you some snacks, but your wife won't have to lift a finger tonight, you see"

"Thanks" Olger is glad this story won't get to the Lodge. Vali might refer to him as Olgar the precious, and they'd need a new Mountain

Of course, the 'Snacks' Jessica and Olgar get are like full meals to smaller folks

Jess give Olgar a rueful look on the side.

Olgar shrugs, then digs in "Gracias, ladies"

They are placated and focus on the meal fit for a group of trolls!

Jessica samples; it's good, of course.

Of course, one could get spoiled

Olgar nods "Good thing we both patrol so much huh?"

She grins and nods. "Yes."

A chuckle back and he rises "Okay , Jessica, show me around a bit so they can get stuff done without us slowing em down?" Boggans do work faster without witneses "Beeen awhile since I was here so I figure somethings have changed. For one thing.. did you always have so many cats?"

"Sure. 'Excuse us, Ladies. Um, do you know where we can find Tito Woden?"
