"Si" Little Pedro whimpers "You and Duff, your rules are too harsh. We can't make the BIG money"

Demos sees the gun man dragged to him, nods, kicks his foot down, and breaks the gun man's fingers

Jessica winces, but checks to see if they are getting unwanted attention.

No one butting in that's for sure

"Duff's rules are his rules, my rules are mine" Demos says "YOu just lost all of today's merch, AND I'm gonna break your leg"

"Please, no. I can't make money hobbling around...others will eat me alive"

Jess fights a wince, keeping stoic.

'what else can you give me to keep your leg intact? " Demos demands

the man whimpers, begs and finally offers "I'll tell you who has been stealing immigrant girls from Houndorus"

Demos gets a glance.

Demos looks over at her, notes the glance "You may have just saved your leg. Talk"

She goes back to watching the street.

And the man talks, the gunman whimpers... and Demos gathers the top most expensive merch "We should head back to the hold"

Jessica nods and walks back with him. "We don't need to worry about those two?"

"They'll be too scared someone will tell they told" He says "Duff is going to be pissed when he finds out this is starting up again"

"Mm."

"Guess you aren't happy either" He observes

A shrug "Not my style of dealing with things, but you got the job done I guess."

"Cap's gotta cap"

"I know." and she isn't judging or anything; just acknowledging they have different ways of doing things.

They make their way towards the hold "You want a new lap top?"

"No, thank you." Politely "My phone does for me, mostly."

"Gotcha" He says and brings the stuff to his room

Diego looks over "That was quick"

"Yeah, we ran into ... well, someone out there ran into trouble."

"Dare I ask?"

"Demos knows more about it than I do."

"I'll ask him, but you don't seem happy"

A shrug. "I've seen worse. Heck, I've done worse. Doesn't mean I enjoyed it. Also, nothing says I -have- to be happy, right?"

"Only pooka I think " He observes

"There you go."

"Sorry, it was a good day"

A pat on the shoulder "And I will still treasure it. thank you"

A smile "A new changeling among us. Yes, a good day no matter what"
