"I do recall it, yes." from her tone, no, not fondly per se but.... "I'm glad to hear of her success. A Dreamer of yours?"

"Yes," A wistful smile 'Sadly she'll be beyond my musing now but I am proud'

"it is a great achievement. You can be justly proud, Diego."

"Gracias" He says "It has helped me think that maybe my actions have larger effects than I suspected"

"Your actions freed these people from a despotic ruler and have supported a greater peace. A powerful legacy."

She nods "Yes." agreeing.

Holger approaches looking at both adults "Is there guarding to be done here?' he seems ready to take a position by Jessica's side

"Ellie is in a secret girl meeting with Salma and Ariel"

"Oh. Well. What about one of the boys? Onyx or Ahpuch?"

"Ahpuch is spying. Onyxi is reading"

Diego says to the boy "why don't you guard the new Chyilad? right by his side for a bit"

Jessica nods. "Yes."

He gives a troll salute and moves to the eshu's side standing firm

Diego smirks "wonder how long it will take our newcomer to realize he has a bodyguard?"

"Hopefully not before Caspian DeBuke finds his way here." Jess says "That way at least we can hook the two of them up."

"Caspian ? Good choice" He approves

"Nancy called him."

"Smart of her then" He nods approvingly "Maybe we should see if we can get Caspian to visit more often. there are too few Eshu that stick around so at least having one visit every summer or something would work well"

"I agree."

"I''ll bribe him with booze" Only half joking

"I'm sure he'll welcome some hospitality." she says dryly.

A smilet then 'Do you know of any Eshu in Rivervale/'

"It has been a long time." she points out "None that come to mind, no."

"Very well" He says

And he considers "I think maybe i'll see if we can get more Eshu to visit here. Maybe a story telling contest"

"Pennons might be an opportune time. Or hold a series of small contests leading to a big one at Pennons?"

"I mean, it's your idea and you should do what you think will work."

"Well, I think others had plans for Pennons, but who knows/'

She nods. "Who knows?" she echos.

Rosa approaches "Surely you two want food, no?"

"Oh, I ate, Rosa. Delicious, thank you so much for putting this together. I'm sure Apolonio is grateful."

"Very handsome, isn't he?" Rosa says

"Sure."

"And Luis seems to be befriending him, that's two handsome men' She observes

"Would you like me to introduce you? Or drop some hints? I could pass them a note in 5th period...." she offers.

A HUFF from rosa "Aie, you are so stubborn" And flounces off irritated

the satyr chuckles "well played"

"They do love to matchmake, and, they worry about you" He shrugs "But you are a grown woman, and if distance is what you desire, you should have it"

"Thank you, Diego." it might be she's the slightest but surprised, but she accepts with grace. "I don't want to make anyone worry, but if I say I'm fine... I'm fine."

"And even if you weren't, some problems can only be solved by ones self. if you need an ear to talk to , well, you have a hold full. if you don't...well, you still have a lot of ears anyway' a nod of approval "Again, we've done well here'
