Jess LEAPS back into the hall. Her costume is now flowing blue shirt and pants to match her skin. Embroidered on the fabric are arching, twisting flames in rich crimson, sparkling orange, hot yellow and ice-white-blue. Her horns are ... wait, jeweled? Her mask is likewise in flames and sparkling. "I AM FLAMEFREE!!"

And the king seems to be passed out, but with a smile on his face!

She lands, and takes stock.

Some call for her to dance, or jump... or entertain

But they cheer her !

A grin, easier than any expression she's had so far. "I'm am FlameFree, the first and original. I hear your voice! This night we celebrate common rule, and remember how we started here! We talked. We listened to each other. And you will see that again! I am, and have always been, FlameFree!! MUSIC!"

And music breaks out again, more musicians have come in, in fact

If Jess knows the song, she'll take a deep, steadying breath, and start leading the rest in song.

And they join in with her

As the sonng ends, Jessica gets a hand o herr shoulder, Mitra whispers "Everrythinnng okay?"

Jess nods. "So far. I have an errand to run. Can you cover for me for 30 minutes?"

"You got" She says

Jess nods and fades out/back/away and out of the Freehold.

And Mitra juggles two sabres at once

Jess takes the most direct, fastest path to her apartment.

Jessica nods; nothing left -here- at least. She slips out again, locks up, and back to Fenix.

She nods and starts to mingle again, gets a drink.

She also, aware of her duty for the night, puts a red clown nose on. Just so people know.

"Hey! Flamebutt!" A rather short Cernacala with a shock of white and red hair sticking out at all angles rather than staying put under her headscarf is giving Jessica an up-nod. She's wearing both a mask and goggles...the effect is rather weird.

A quirk of her lips in a smile. "Hi."

"Pffft! 'Hi,' nuthin'. Ain' you s'posed to be makin' with more funny? Hey, light a fart on fire, that be good for a laugh," she encourages the jester.

"Not sure I can right now but... um...." she reaches out to honk Tweak's nose and makes an old car horn-sound "Ooogah!"

She jerks her head back just out of reach of the actual pinch. "Ooooh...you lucky I like you. Plus, that I got cargo. Otherwise, we throw down." She jerks a thumb over her shoulder; Boseman naps in a black-as-night carrier on his mother's back. He is also wearing a baby version of the mask. Shuri has certainly gone to enjoy the party with the other childlings.

"Oh my god, he's adorrable, are you sure he's related? " Mitra says

"Oh, hello Boseman!" she says quietly, not to disturb him.

"Heyyyy, Moony. Studies done proved that Crawly an' me make some damn fine babies."

"Amazingly, startlingly, surprisingly true!" Moonie agrees "It's like a pendulum swing to the other ennd of things for generational balance"

Tweak gives Mitra a narrow look through those goggles and mask, and then simply opts for an eloquent middle-finger in reply.

Mitra chuckles

"Having a good time?"

"I am, though I'm curious as to what the Double act was? "Mitra nods

"Want me to baby sit so you can dance with your hubby? " Mitra offers tto tweak

"Fuck yeah!" Tweak does not do any of the coy if-you're-sure? stuff...an offer is an offer, and she jumps on this one. She slips the carrier off her back in one smooth motion and does something to it so...it sprouts support legs? Yes, the carrier has transformed into a little portable crib. Clever! "Now, he be okay, but he fuss? You call me. An'...oh yeah...do NOT touch that button..." she points at a rather menacing looking red button on the side of the carrier.

"Yo! Where my man be at?" Tweak shoves her way through the party crowd towards the dance floor in search of Nec.

the Eiluned's eye twitches a t being told NOT to press a button

but she nods "understood"

"Steady, Mitra." Jess murmurs.

It would appear the commoner has learned a thing or two about the Eiluned, after all.

And Tweak finds her hubby checking out some wilder girls "Mmm" then he sees her "Just scoping out talent, baby"
