"I'll drink a sip, your majesty," Westward says "A bet. If it makes me sick... or kills me, well, I will apologize. If it doesn't... you loan me your fool for ten minutes. She could use a break"

"If not here to usurp the night, majesty, why -is- she here? Oh! She is after -me-!!!" Jess runs to play hide and seek, or just hide, with the court "SAVE ME!!!"

"She comes looking like a savior, but she seeks our downfall!! She will end up just like all nobles, and this is a night for common rule!!:

"I'm very drunk... " The king says "If this is a play I do not know it." He laughs "if it is just playing, well, it is fine. I will try the drink myself. You two have fun" meaning 'Westward' and the Fool

And Westward moves nimbly after the fool while the king takes a swig. Westward joins in, giving an almost comical style chase of her 'prey'. Her hat has changed to a jester's cap

the idea of Jessica somehow chasing herself has some folks impressed, this is the extra mile

Jess dodges and dashes, keeping distance, moving towards the 'Fire.

Westward bounces left and right, and sometimes leaps on chairs and tables to close the distance

The king actually laughs at this mutual display of acrobatic buffonry

As she reaches the 'Fire, she pulls the purple robe up and off. Underneath, with a quick adjustment, she is La Cerencala!!

She turns and squares off against Westward. She is not running anymore.

"You want me? Come and get me."

"WE ARE ALL CERNICALA!" She includes and invites the entire court with her gesture, all the Cernicalas.

"WE ARE ALL CERNICALA!" Dozens chime

Jess invites them all closer, to join her, to face Westward.

"Are we now?" Westward grins, "Enguard" She grabs a fish on the table, looking at the fool

It is possible Jessica may get slapped with a mackerel

Depends on if and how many are between her and Westward.

Well, she lead her to the fire where few are. But rather htan strike, it would appear Westward is waiting for Fool To pick up a loaf of bread to defend herself

"To what purpose?" She calls defiantly."What do you expect win?"

Others do gather

"Fun" Westward smiles "tonightt of all nights, even a girl calling herself Westward is allowed to have fun"

Folks cheer, Mitra however does move near Jessica, and whispers to the fool "that's not you, right?"

"Someone called Westward? Why, -they- are the fool tonight!" She calls (and misses Mitra's question) She kicks the robe and crown across to Westward, the crown skittering a little closer "Try it on!"

"No thanks, only one king tonight and oddly neither of us" She leaps over it, dropping the mackerel and tackling the fool in a hug! She whispers "How you doing sis?"

Demos and Phobos are on guard to make sure it's just playing

Jessica grabs her back in a bear hug and stomps her foot on the ground, opening a portal passage under them to drop to the lower floor below.

And down they go, to cheers.. "Magnifico" calls out the king

And they land below "oof"

and apart ffrom the crowds

Jessica releases her captive sharply. "I have a duty tonight. Don't get in the way of it."

"Jessica, don't be angry, geezus. This is the one nightt I could come visit without risk of arrest. And you wouldn't visit me."

"Do the math, Siv." she starts removing the Cernicala costume.

Siv loses the Jessica features "Maybe 'the math' isn't so clear to me. I love you, you're my sister but let's admit it, we don't get each other sometimes"

"Thank you, Lady Captain Obvious." under the Cernicala costume she has -another- costume or so it seems.

"So explain it to me, talk to me. Stop treating me like a special needs child just because I'm not telepathic. From my perspective I did a lot of good. Helped some folks. "

"Clearly," She changes out of her wayward outfit "I don't have your side of things, but I don't know what it is because you won't tell me"

And Siv seems to be trying to listen

"I'm going to go back up there and try to put an end to this, and you're going to -stop- and then there WILL be an end to it and THEN we can talk."

"Oh my god. I'm trying to talk to you on the one night you can't give orders, and you're still trying to give orders."

"Think of it as an ultimatum if you rather."

She ttakes a deep breathe, "I'd rather you talk to me. Why is La Cernicala a threat to you? I did somethings you couldn't, I helped some folks who were scared to ggo to anyone official"

"Last time: I'll talk to you -after- I put an end to this and you stop."

"It's been stopped, but you're making me want to start it again with this 'ultimatum' crap" She grits her teeth , "Fine. I get it. I love you. You clearly don't ggive a shit about me. FINE. But La Cernicala is loved and it's not because she did something wrong. "

And... is Siv crying? She wipes at herr eyes "Fuck!"

Jessica looks up at the ceiling thoughtfully.

Clapping along with the music

Jessica takes a deep breath and hops up and down three times, opening another portal and bouncing up THROUGH it to the hall above.

And Siv is left below
