A knock on the door of their room

"Aye?" Though the knocker may not hear it.

"uhm my name is Ariel Debuke, and I'm good at spring magicks? And I heard i might speed things up for mr. Earl?"

"Come in, please."

The little satyr strains "I think you said come in... so umm coming in"

She does that, the little satyress with her red hair enters carrying Fairly Floss, aka Cotton Candy

"Hello, Miss Ariel," greets the Corrupter.

"Hi, Miss Zara, you're looking extra witchy today" Manners and she hands the Fairy floss to Earl "Mr. earl, i know you don't feel up to it, but eat this please. "

"Thank you, Ariel" and he slowly takes the light sugar into his mouth.

"That is a very polite compliment, Miss Ariel. Thank you. And thank you, for coming to help Earl..."

"Oh I hope to be a healer like Chief Clem... well, actually a Healer Archer Rock star troubadour sailor " She clarifies "But You're welcome. They're telling some neat stories about all of you. SO exciting. I need to try to make a song about it for the others."

"Well, two of your kin feature highly. Speak well of them. I... please, little bard, may I ask a favor?"

"Oh I ain't no BARD, Mrs. Zara" A blush "That's wayy over troubadour.. they never lie and I uhmm well, sometimes I do fudge a bit ."

"You say that on the farm you'll likee to end up scrubbing pans and then later being asked how many facets did that truth have and was it worth being all sly about it?" The satyr sighs

Earl chuckles mid munch at that. Then looks surprised. The cotton candy is working some

"But uhm.. you wanted to ask me a favor?" the little satyress bounces from hoof to hoof softly

"Aye. A small one. Besides, Zara is most difficult to rhyme..."

"Tiara, Laura, tomorrow if you say it with an accent "UP to the challenge

Earl fights a smile, then touches his belly

"Prithee, little bard, use not my name. Tis precious to me."

"But ... oh Miss Zara, you got a right to a good brag if anyone does, more than most!" She says "you lead them, Caspian says. You cast powerful magics! you saved your friend! You were the pale lady of just wrath! the Witch of Cutting Will! The webweaver of vengeance's bite!"

Earl mutters "some of those are good"

"Aye, all wonderful names. I may need to adopt 'webweaver' if 1122 won't object..."

"Thanks, though Caspian made some of them. "A sotto voice "Webweaver of vengeance's bite was mine though . I know you like spiders" Then she says "And you saved 1122. I can't take you out of the story, you got the best parts"

"Well - you may call me Raven, or Ghost, if you need aught that is short."

"Oh, well, I guess," She says "But I don't understand. I know Zara ain't your TRUE name. Even childlings like me never share those"

Zara notices that Earl seems to be in a lot less pain now

"No, it is not. But Zara is still the name my parents gave me."

"I like it, it's much prettier than Sarah. I knew a Sarah" A low whisper "She wasn't nice like you"

"I cannot compel you. But please?"

"I shall be indebted, twice..." A touch on Earl's arm.

"Oh no miss Zara, you're not indebted for Mr. Earl at ALL, neither. I'm healing is all... " She says "There's hurt and i need to help. it's like my part of right of rescue... you did the heard part, I'm just helping clean up"

"Say what you want, Ariel" Earl says "But I think you just saved me a week of healing. I do feel indebted."

Ariel blushes at this "Clem would do the same and better I bet so no thing but.." A sigh "Okay, Miss Zara. i wont' use your given name"

"Thank you, Miss Ariel."

She ponders "Webweaver of Vengeance's bite, pale thief who steals troll lads by night, mistress of fate's magic might, the whispering witch slide into the fight"

A little smile.

She confesses " I like rhymes"

"I noticed" Earl says

"But uhm what are you gonna do about Magnus and Caspian?" She asks

"Caspian knows better. But that Fiona..."

"yup. he's been on the phone, atl east I think has..Salma's hard to understand"

Earl groans "Sometimes Magnus is so Eiluned like in style, but then after the casting is done.. pure Fiona"

"Salma's a pooka?"

"She's a Girl Burro so she gets the last Churro" Pleased "She's got one ear goes up, one ear goes down a bit.. but I don't tease because my hair looks pretty crazy in the morning myself" She touches her red locks
