Elias Hazard plays nearby as Jessica walks the halls of her hold.

An Electric harp... she's not used to that... but... it's catchy

Certainly a song she's heard before. A lot. But it -is- catchy. Interesting sound.... What's making it?

A nocker with an electric harp... She remembers him arriving but at the time there was a kitten panic

As he finishes up, he doffs his steampunk style hat with the metalic feather "Any requests? Furking trying to impress ya"

The harp is.. well, it looks rather steampunk... though nockers would claim they were way ahead of that and never let go.. Odd whirley dos and whatchmachallits and dinghoppers built into the instrument

She might just be amused. "Interesting instrument."

"Thanks... like your typical electric harp but with a few extensions of my own design... I don't just sing and play, I invent my own instruments"

Jessica considers this. "Have you visited Skyhook?"

"Matter of fact, yeah... it's amazing" He nods "But not sure they need a troubadour"

"No, but they are the local co-op. You might make sure you're on as good terms as possible with the leader there, Tweak. Have you met Symond here?"

"Yup... bit creepy that girl.. but i was furking nice as we get in my kith, I swear"

"Ok, well.... sounds like you're connected where you need to be. Welcome to Renaissance."

"Thank you, Countess... " He bows and doffs his hat, "This place ain't drek. Sweet acoustics "

"Thank -you-. Oh, have you met Countess Eleanor?"

"Seen her, but the time she was out, she was kitten searching... heard the little wriggler got found so." A nod "Interesting things cats.. both liquid and solid.. like sluagh, but.. cute"

Jessica nods. "Good. Ok. Enjoy your time here." She moves along.

"Hopefully I'll enjoy my JOB here.. room, board, good music for you" A grin "Though I still have to size up the compe..."

And Phoebe's voice cuts through the hallways.... singing, not aware the nocker or jessica are even there

A King Eyebrow.

"That's a pretty song, Phoebe. Can you sing another?"

"Oh it aint' gonna be easy" Elias sighs

Phoebe smiles "I know what you like... " and she breaks out into a disney tune, complete with outrageous accent

Giggles, and she sings along.

"Nothing worthwhile ever is." She comforts.

"Yup. Disney tunes huh?" Elias asks Jessica "That's what sells here?"

"With her."

"What sells with you?" Elias Hazard grins

A very small smile. "We will see. I will give no advantages."

"Can't blame a slob for trying" He grins needle teeth "But I hear you"

Then when there's a break in Phoebe's song, he hits a less known disney song

Little kids are suckers.

Jessica waits to see how the Dueling Disney Troubadors plays out.

Eventually, Phoebe ..invites a duet... and ...when it's his turn, Elias joins in. He knows some Disney (WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT)

Jessica lifts an eyebrow at this.

"Ohhhhh!" Ellie is all in. RAPUNZEL.

The two musicians finish and meet i nthe hall way

"Jezohozaphat frickin Christmas" He gapes

"I.. I know, my face is.." she hides her spottled visage

"Beautiful, but don't think I can't wear a spitzy mask and catch up" He says "Your voice is what worries me":

Phoebe looks surprised, then smiles "Worries?"

..... and presses her lips together.

"yeah.. hard to beat. Crud." Elias snorts "Oh well. I'm game. Gonna bring my A game"

"Please do," She smiles now, "i'm Phoebe"
