Elias Hazard, Steam punk Troubadour enters under the glaring eyes of ... Phobos

"You stand before the heart of Renaissance , the Hold of Fenix, ruled by Condessa Jessica King the FlameFreer! I am Sir Phobos, Champion and Herald! Who the fuck are you?" The Cap snarls

"Elias Hazard, Steampunk Troubadour, Harpologist, Musicnaut... possesor of the now slightly soiled shorts! CRIPES could you ease up I'm intimidated already!" Elias says

Dagmar stands BEHIND the nocker... rather looming over the stocky redcap.

Phobos actually looks a BIT amused at the nocker, then looks up at the troll, "You're a rivervaler... Dame... Dagsomething?"

"Dame Dagmar King."

"Yeah, sorry about the intense security, but we got a bit of a crisis on our hands right now. Guy's still welcome, but we're watching extra hard the ways in and out right now." Indeed, they can see the staff scurrying.. other thanes rushing about. It's like a military operation in here

A young satyress, Ariel rushes by "Have they seen her? Sir Phobos?"

"They just got here, and I already told you, the target didn't slip past here" Phobos says

"Have we checked all the tissue boxes? All the boxes, period?" A voice calls from down the hall.

"Seen who?"

"The tabby!" Ariel says as if it's obvious "She is lost!"

Blink.

"It's a kitten" Phobos says as if all dignity has been sucked from this job "Just a stupid kitten"

"Is she weaned?"

Then he bellowws in answer "Rosalitta is handling the tissue boxes! "

A long-eared pooka runs down the hallway, her voice filled with tears. "It was my day to watch her, oh, this is muy no bueno, terrible, desgraciada..." As she darts past the newcomers with scarcely a glance.

Ariel answers "Nope! Not yet! They're like.. 27 days old!"

"Twenty-seven and three quarters!" Salma calls back, darting back the way she came. "Not in los banos..."

Then the satyress looks at the racing donkey girl "It aint' your fualt... we'll find her.. Salma! Right of Rescue!"

Phobos sighs "It doesn't apply to cats..."

"Uh - I can help look?"

"It SHOULD! Princesca will rule it so." She says stubbornly, with the childish firm belief that if she says it, it will so be.

"Hang on....." A troll appears; Jessica, following a Wisp o Wills.

Ellie trails after Jessica, fussing.

Phobos looks at Dagmar "if you would, " he whispers "I will owe you. It's driving me nuts and it's upsetting the royalty"

"Technically, they're not royalty, " Elias says "Just noblity"

Phobos eyes the little nocker "I bet I could make that harp fit in any crevice I wanted"

"Well then, cool. I'll look..." Brow furrow as she scans the area and puts that critter-sense to work.

"Hail to the king" Ellias says without misssing a beat

"Dagmar?" Jessica blinks.

"Hey Jessica, escorting a musicker."

Next to Dagmar is a .. Nocker with a steampunk harp who bows "And Elias Hazard, Troubadour!"

"...and, apparently, kitten-hunting!"

Dagmar knows a bit about cats, what they like. Jessica is no slouch. But the fact is, cats are liquid except when they're not.

"Mom sent a musical nocker?" puzzled.

Ariel tries to calm Salma "It's okay, it's okay, Breathe.. should I sing the high hopes song?"

Salma has emerged from the library where the other kittens are safely stashed away. "This is no bueno. I asked my gray and the others, where did Tabby go? And they said, "Milk, milk, milk. Too pequeno to make sense."

"SI, please?" She asks of Ariel.

"No, he came through... but you know, trods can get rough..."

And soon whoops there goes another rubber tree will bre heard in the halls trying to rally the spirits

Dagmar, all eight or so feet of her, gets down on her hands and knees to peer under furniture.

Others are doing so...

But Dagmar joins her.

Jessica, the wisp o wills being useless and dancing with the Balefire, starts looking behind curtains.

"Can she climb yet? She can't, can she?"

"Jessica, maybe the flowers saw something?" Ellie asks.

Elias says "Yeah, I was allowed to use the trod to save me a lot of travel. I don't know much about about kittens."

Elias hears the satyr childling "Furking competition already" A sigh "Ah well"
