And they go... until they come to a secluded area and they find Father V talking to the kinian...the light here is a bit brighter. Bright enough to see each other even for those without sluagh senses.

Zara hangs back, observing.

The condition of the skin does not rattle zara. She is a sluagh, they glory in the unusual and what others dismiss as wrong... but the features... the shape...

She narrows her eyes.

"Countess? You returned?" Phoebe says "I thought perhaps it would take longer. Are Ellie and Ariel well?"

Jessica nods. "They fare well, yes. Father." She nods a greeting respectfully.

"Jessica, how are you my dear? I fear I haven't been to the hold proper very often. I see Sister Maura Tristeza and you have met. " Father V says

Sister Maura Tristeza gives the softest of sighs as she is outed by name. boggans, even those who are in the faith, are just so.. forward

A slight headshake. Zara understands.

Jessica offers a small smile and shakes the Father's hand. "You are busy on County business, Father, even if you aren't at the Hold often. You know Dame Dil? And this is a vis....." She looks around for Zara in the shadows.

And so, she steps forward - pale face, black eyes. Her bone-white bangs fall as a soft veil to soften her gaunt features.

And Phobe's eyes widen like an animal facing wolves "The weapon?! HERE? No!"

"Never his weapon."

Nevertheless Phoebe scrambles back. There is something in zara that enjoys terror, but this is...it has attachments she may not care for.

Still, the fear seems geniune, else this kinian is an actress extrodinaire

Dil says"This is Miss Zara.." Not sure what's wrong with the kinian

Jessica brings the weapon... ok, HER weapon... up on guard, but against what she's not sure.

"Miss Zara..." Father V says "I must ask you, please, this is a house of haven"

"Aye, aye... "

"Zara, what's going on??"

Phoebe bobs "You were the unmaker of all... where you walked death came"

"So. I would be displeased were you to lie. Why are you here? What goals hold ye?"

Father V holds onto the girl. "now.. this is really..."

"Father, trust my kith to know its ways" The nun says gently

Zara flicks her dark eyes to the priest. "I am the Raven, I shall see what I mean to."

"i.. I..... I understand" Phoebe says "do not strangle my Da'an. I seek haven, a place strong enough that House Balor cannot retake me, where Paler's ghosts cannot follow"

"I.. can sing" Phoebe shivers "it's.. I can earn my way with song"

"Sing for me. Show me your soul in it."

She croaks... too scared to make more sounds on command

"Zara??" Jessica takes a step forward.

Her spidery hands weave, gathering glamour. "Aye, Jessica?"

"What's going on?"

"She knows me."

Father V's own eyes flicker with glamour.. and not weak at that "I will not allow my charges of sanctuary to be so bullied."

"Father, nay...I beg thee" The Nun says

"All right, everyone just -calm- -down-."

"Jesssica" The Father says "you truly trust this woman?"

"Zara, please stand down. You scare her. We're not going to get much from her like this."

"I am sluagh."

"Yes, we know that. And you've scared her."

The eyes in the kinian's head roll white.. and she passes out

A frustrated huff.
