He bows "Your excellency. The ladies petite have retired for the night after a fine dinner and the madcap adventures of Sofia.. Doolittle relation"

"Thank you. What can we do for Salma?"

"Salma needs nothing, lady... but it was observed she was very fond of the TV, quite close... and she loves books so much she rests her brow upon them" He says with some gentle concern

Eyebrow. "Poor eyes?"

Buce nods "Baroness Von clem noticed it and did comment"

Jessica nods. "Some kind of check up, then."

"Oh, and the Baroness and Earl Sir did go out on a raid in the sky"

"....Pardon?"

Jessica pauses. "They what?"

Simultaneously.

Buce points up

To the ceiling.

then he says "Ah.. works better when the roof is invisible. There was a threat in yon yonder which could not be reached save by flight and naturally, being fearless pooka, they charged to act where others could only hop"

"What Baroness..... wait, Clem and Earl? Up.... the sky?"

which with those ribbons in his hair probably looks a bit ah.. well.. it's silly

Jessica goes to the door, opens it, and looks up.

A Wyvern slams into the ground, dead. It's neck broken.

Jessica jumps back, then leaps outside, maul at the ready...... against.....???

It has a saddle.

Zara makes a noise - it's not a cry, not from her throat - and she runs to the beast.

"Zara, careful!"

and above they can see a figure in blue with a shining glass sword and a shield of green slashing to free a great bird of some sort ,huge, majestic... from riders with harpoons riding Wyverns. A giant eagle flies also, her wings spinning

And the raiders riding the Wyverns curse as their chains are broken

But it is too far up to do much about

"Aaarrggh!" Jessica groans in frustration. "Get Symond up here! Now!!"

Zara whispers to the corpse - the mount is not the rider, and its death is still to be tended.

Buce goes..and soon returns carrying a FURIOUS nocker!

"What the furk.. I... that's not Aztec" A blink as she looks up

"Do we have anything that can help them? The eagle and the troll up there? Can you.... .I don't know, launch me or something?"

"What, you think I got a jetpack up my ass? Besides.. that bird's so big it should free itself"

the death is tended... but should Zara look up and see the great bird, she may find it is familar...

"Nothing? We have nothing?"

Behemoth... for the land, Leviathan for the Ocean... and for the sky..Ziz! A bird so big it could blot out the sun when it spread it's wings...
