"I will make sure he knows I am grateful. And Symond.... I -am-."

Muttering but for different reasons. Blush "yeah uhm well you need anhhything else? "

"Nope. Good work." She nods and leaves Symond to her work.

Symond closes the door, and then smiles when she realizes she wasn't told she couldn't duplicate others. Huh. Potential.

As for Jessica, she returns to find Mitra and Johnny talking

"Ok. What's next?"

"Absolutely we need to learn about the pwoer of the days here, nto everthing is 'beltaine samhain Imboc wash repeat"

"We are not going to start holidays for every whackadoo Nunnehi celebration that you THINK you've figured out..." Then she sees Jessica, and inclines her head "I think we're mostly done, your excellency with the important matters. Symond get a flogging?"

"More like a small tongue lashing. What's this about holidays?"

"Oh, since you asked" Twofeather smiles, while Mitra rolls her eyes. He continues "I was looking for holidays important to the region. Trying to find ways to suggest incorporating Nunnehi work here."

"Well, days"

"Excellent."

"So you're good with that?" he smiles

"Holidays cost resources, hhyour excellency. In these times especially" Mitra does not think this is a good investiment of their time

"So far. Do you have more details, information?" To Mitra. "I know. But this too will pass and I'm not going to lose ground with the Nunnehi in the meantime."

"A few ideas yes."

"Let's hear them."

After a long talk of possible holidays, nixing Cinco De Mayo mostly as it's more American than Mexican unless you're in oen Mexican state... a few ideas come up.

Mitra still thinks they should prioritize other matters but yields to the conversatio nand does chip in

Jessica takes in the ideas, clarifies with a few questions, and says "Ok, so .. I think we'll put together some notes about this and send them out to the other Freehold leaders. Then we'll sit down together here, and discuss."

"Thank you, Countess. Did you need me for anything else? " he asks

"Not at the moment, please continue your excellent work."

Johnny winks and heads off

"mm he's knowledgable, I'll give him that" Mitra says

"And he's been trying to make headway with the local Nunnehi."

"With some effect. I see him go out at night sometime. They talk to him."

"I wish they'd talk to -me-..... but." Shrug "At least tehy're talking to someone."

"It's what you wanted from him. Maybe he can set up a meeting sometime"

"I have asked him to; I'm sure when the time is right he will."

"How are you doing yourself ? Jessica. If you don't mind me asking?"

"Fine. Busy, of course. You?"

"Much the same. Not much time for socialzing I fear"

She nods. "Duty first."

"But... for what it's worth, I miss seeing you and relying on you. Of course, I still do but.... you know what I mean."

A smile "I do know, and thank you. It means a lot. How are Ash and Dil working out?"

"Well. They certainly have settled in and pitched in. I'm grateful for them."

"Between Dame Dil's youthful energy and Dame Ash's expereince, I suppose the TWO of them might make up for my loss"

Jessica considers this seriously, and nods.

A smile "Thank you for agreeing. "

She offers her hand.

Mitra takes it.

A shake. "Do you need anything? Or the Pitt?

"In truth, I think it's too soon to say what we may need. The Pitt is angry, but by upping patrols it's geting an outlet."
