"Thank you. It's considered tacky for a gent to pleasure and run... how about next meal? We can talk then" He says "Or I can even pay for your dinner if you wish to go out?"

"Oh, be happy to host you here." Purpleish. "Talk to you then." She will beat a retreat with Mitra if allowed.

Mitra follows "Okay. He's annoyingly interesting" Hurumphs as if blaming the fellow for that

"Apparently." A pause. "Think that was Nancy in there?"

"Nevermind."

"I'm pretty sure" A blush

Yeah, both of them are blushing.

"Ok." Jessica goes a little darker purple after a beat. "Ok, I'm going on patrol. Get in touch if he... when... just get in touch later. I'll be back for dinner." She heads out.

"Should we order oysters?" Mitra says to her liege's back

Jessica's step falters a beat but she doesn't turn, and keeps going.

And off she goes on patrol

She is looking to burn off.... whatever.

RIght. So..patrol and hard walk, or a stop by Duff to burn off..whatever

...or both....

The patrol helps, and she finds Duff's shop is closed, but that's fine. He lives above it and she has the key.

She looks at the key on her ring, thinking.

The light above the store is on. He is probably home

She heads up. Knocks.

The door opens "Bonita, I wasn't expecting you"

"Sorry. If I'm interrupting I can go..." she's already turning.

"Go? Why... please, come in. What's the matter? is there trouble at the hold?"

"No. No. No trouble." She edges in.

He lets her in, "Can I get you a drink?"

"I, um, yes. Thanks. I was on patrol. The shop was shut. Everything ok?"

"Everything is grand" He says "Glass of wine, or would you prefer rum, I also have water, coffee, and soda"

She takes a deep breath. "Rum." Almost impulsively.

"Surely" He sets her up and himself, "Should we toast anything? "

"If you like." She fidgets.

And click of glasses if she allows

She does, a little reluctantly.

"Jessica, something is on your mind, what's wrong, lover. Talk to me"

"I feel silly." Mumbled.

"Why would you feel silly? Because you visited me?" He takes some of the rum

She takes a drink as well. "Because I let myself get, um, flustered. And came here. Looking for you, if I'm honest."

"Flustered?" A moment "Jessica, are you saying 'you're in the mood, and you sought out your lover to act upon that desire? HOw in any way is it silly?"

She drinks again. "I should have better control than that."

"Jessica, you are directing your passion, how is that not control" He tilts his head

"I guess... I guess that's a point."

Drink.

"Jessica, I don't know what you saw, or what stirred you... but you know there's a saying? 'I don't care where you get your appetite, as long as you eat at home'" Mischievous

That chokes a startled laugh out of her.

He takes her hand "Come, let's drink, dance, and or delight in each other... I assure you, lover. I find it very stirring to know you sought me out. My ego can be flattered."

She downs the rest of the drink. "Ok. Yes, that... I'd like that."

He puts music on, and they dance...at least, for a bit before they try something else. A very wonderful something else
