"Oh, crap... ok... Mitra, can you have a word with her, send her here if it doesn't seem to take, and I'll go talk to Fontaine?"

Mitra races off

Jess girds her..... well, everything, and heads back in. "Sir? Fontaine?"

She finds Fontaine alone,e he rises out of the water, thankfully WITH pants. "Flamefree?"

"Yes, um, where's Sir Bachdion?"

"oh... he was feeling good so went out to flirt with women, drink wine, and fence"

"Well. I suppose he's feeling better, then, yes." A blink. "Fontaine.... can I ask a question?"

"Or.... well, more?"

"Yes" He nods

"Um. Sir Bachdion seemed.... well, younger than when he got here. Moreso than might be expected. Do you have an insight on that?"

"Yes." he nods

A beat. "Please share it with me."

"Oh... yes, the fountain and I have a link... it has power, that I can use, but not often. You said he was needing restoration. This is a place of renewel. Why do you think you called it Fenix?"

"Well, yes. And Renaissance. How does it work, please?"

"Oh... I don't tell... if the last baroness knew she would have..." he shudders. "Balor- ick"

" right." She pauses, " what about the baroness before that?"

"Oh.. she was Fiona." He says in that helpful not helpful way

"I can tell you that there's a price to every magic... and he'll have to make his choice or somethings won't last, but he'l be much better than he was before regardless."

A grateful nod. "Good to know. Thanks. I should go see how Dame Mitra is doing. Excuse me." And she goes to follow up with Mitra.

Mitra can be found with a light blush "Found her."

"Did you talk to her? She understands?"

"Yes... but.. and I quote 'I'm still going to try him out'" Ahem

She blinks. "Right. Well. Ok?"

Jessica runs her fingers through her hair
What isn't braided, anyway. "Did we miss anything?"

"Talk about 'No good deed goes unpunished...'"

"Well, we need to talk to Sir Bachdion himself"

"I guess we should. Hopefully he's still at the fighting and drinking stage. Come on. Strength in numbers." They go in search.

They may have to wait... one bed room sounds active.

But afterward, the door opens and Bachdion greets them with a sheet around his firm form "Ladies, forgive, were we too ah, loud? I'm afraid being at a Fiona hold has spoiled me"

"Nope." Muttered. "He moved on." Then, to Bachdion "No, um, not too loud. That is, I didn't hear ... nevermind, I wanted to touch base with you. Um. It can wait. Just.... before you leave, please? No rush."
