With the relections over, the vilification of the Caravan has died down, and with it, some nightmare chimeras have long strength, making them easier to stalk, capture, or destroy. Some of the night mare chimera were caricatures almost... o thers are a bit more terrifying... like the image of a raging woman whose eyes have been gored out, the taller than a troll chimera cannot 'see' her dhildren so thrashes about wanting her babies returned. Sovereign didn't work well, as Mitra finds out after trying a dictum. "Well.. we'll have to kill it" Mitra grunts

"Maul would be nice" Mitra observes to Jessica

Jessica SWINGS.

At the same time, Mitra stabs with her sword and Phobos bites. The creature goes down, mercifully evaporating from the onslaught. the nightmare ended.

Phobos spits out a glob of chimerical flesh "I'm going to miss some of these. Flavors really vary eh?"

Mitra looks a bit ill at that.

"Right. Ok." Jessica tries not to dwell and cleans her blade. "Moving on?"

"It would appear some resolution is happening on it's own," Mitra says "But some of that is leading to troubles of a different sort. Tijuana is not the safest city. So refugees who are giving up and settling here are having a hard time of it too. They're easy prey, for criminals of all sorts. But tha'ts not kithian concern. "

"No? Seriously, Mitra, in this city with this reputation? Easy prey?" Jessica is not angry at Mitra but.....

"I sense a liam like lecture coming" Mitra says

Hot, dark eyes. "Liam a problem, Dame?"

Mitra raises a brow, "I live to serve, Chapulleh, but I owe you my counsel do I not? I believe that if we try to save all the mortals we will in the long run endanger the kithain of Fenix or the hold itself. Unless you've gone unseelie and believe glamour is free?"

Jessica marches over.... and a troll marches OVER .... "Not all... we have priorities set. Fae, then Kin, the Dreamers, then... anyone we can help. Right?"

"I live to serve" Mitra says again

Phobos herald and trained in diplomacy shrugs "We just been worried about you, lately boss. You seem better than you were, but a time you were looking kind of overwhelmed. Boggans talk... folks wonder. But just because we worry doesn't mean we're not in your corner. You tell me whose head to break and it's done."

She grumbles "Thanks

A whistle, meant to get attention, not a catcall. It's Sir Jack, himself a Liam. "News."

A tilt of a head from Mitra "His house aside, one day you'll have to inform Jack that the 'Street knight' in a trench coat therefore I will whistle at people like a movie action hero stuff is a little insulting to those whistled at."

Jack moves closer.

"Sir Jack." Respectfully.

"Freeholdeer. I think we have someone who forgot himself. A kithain."

She nods. "Let's go, then."

"You sensed that in those crowds?" Mitra says "I'm impressed."

"Not bad for a Liam, eh?" Jack smirks.

He does lead on, and they go shuffling looking in the crowd of folks some getting hand outs.

Jess dials it back, going from 'TROLL WITH MAUL' to 'humanitarian'

One man looks to be 30 ish. "What i need is a job" he tells someone handing him food "Surely I can..."// But the priest shakes his h ead, "we have none to give, friend"

"Excuse me." Quietly. "Can I help you?" to the 30ish man.

"I'm just looking for work" the man says . She can feel the fae soul asleep inside of him... not waiting to wake for the first time, but having been buried by banality

"Ah. I have work I need done, an old spa in need of, um, some, um....." She looks at Mitra. "... things?"

"If you're not too proud to scrub" Mitra says

"As long as it's honest work" the man says

"It is."

"then " He offers his hand "Happy to work for you Miss. I'm Asho."

"Asho, I'm Jessica. Come with me." And she leads him to Fenix.

He wanders and.. looks surprised at the run down buiilding. He eyes them suspiciously "If this is a slavery thing, I warn you. I can fight"

Jessica, leading the way, nods. "Good." And she opens the door and is inside.

In they go..and... the man staggrers "wait, this place I... " the energies here start to crack the shell of mortality, slowly. A boggan walks up and hands him a drink "Bottom's up." //Asho drinks before realizing that that is a lot of trust he's showing and...

Jessica waits, watching.... and, you know, she's got the Maul right there.......

"Shall we place bets?" PHobos asks Jack "You know,on the kith?"

No takers and... suddenly Asho sputters , curses, and proves to be a rather tall and muscled Nocker! his lips recede to reveal needle teeth, and his brow and eyes gin angry garish swirls "damn it ! I forgot? Sitck a bolt in my neck and hand me a charger , losing myself like a naar" the Hounoran somehow knows the yiddish bits all Nockers do.

A baby shriek down the hall, as Shuri comes scooting around a corner in her walker, complete with noise activated super-soaker guns aiming wildly.

At the Shriek , a baby's no less, Asho cuts down his volume jusst a bit and looks at the kid. "Whos is this? And..where am I?"

Another delighted baby shriek-laugh, and Asho catches a squirt of water in the leg, perilously close to the crotch.

"Mmm, not bad accuracy, but you could up the power with a more efficient air press pump" He the big fellow doesn't seem upset by a wet leg, indeed , he pulls out something from a pocket "Here...little one, trade you for a time" Dangeling in his hand is chimierical object on a string, it has to be. It couldn't exist in purely autumn world. It is prismatic, light casting rainbows along it.

It's triangular, if triangles could twist impossibly at every second glance.
