Piper's cheeks color a little, but it's more nerves under scrutiny than any embarrassment. "Exactly..."

Jonas nods "Precisely"

Siv mutters from behind palm "Yup"

Brekke leans back in her seat, stunned.

Siv steals a peek between finger tips to see if her DA is okay.

"I didn't cheat, if that's what you're wondering." She says, not accusatory, more matter of fact. "And I wasn't... confused about who I was with. I mean, I kinda was, but Sylvi helped us track down the history of that night."

All true for the Gwydion inclined

A slow nod, but Brekke is clearly still processing.

"And..." Her voice comes out a bit oddly, and she clears her throat before trying again. "And, you, all three, are happy with this?" Not judging, but checking her read on the situation.

Jonas admits "Given the alternatives? Ecstatic" with troll delivery (No pun intended)

Siv pokes him, then looks ... nope. Dad is still not talking. She pokes at her food, then remembers mom was asking ALL of them "Honestly mom, nervous, maybe even a touch scared, but also kind of thrilled? Tis Piper's body, her choice on a lot. But I'll gladly back her choice in this"

Frank blinks, slowly.

"I wasn't certain." Piper admits. "But... with both Siv and Jonas supporting me? And knowing that... however THIS happened, was a gift from the dreaming? It seems... meant to be."

She looks down at the eggs, then slowly, her face turns.. a little green.
"Um, Excuse me. Bathroom."

The Satyr slides out of the booth and hurries to the restroom.

Now it's just Siv, Jonas, and the Rents!

Brekke watches her go with a sympathetic expression.

Frank makes a small motion; his hand slides sideways just enough for his little finger to make contact with the side of Brekke's hand.

Brekke's little finger links with his, and she takes a slow breath. "Well..." she regards Siv. "It would not be the first surprising and unusual pregnancy in our family."

Siv watches this wondering if her father is okay, worried

Then at her mom's comment "Oh ... that's true I.. oh"

Jonas takes Siv's hand, then says "We would really like your support, Mr. and Mrs. King"

After a moment of looking at them both, Brekke says, "You have mine." A reassuring nod and a slight grin, then she says, "Frank?"

He may get a pinkie squeeze -- That is your cue.

Indeed, Siv's almost beseeching her father with her eyes

"Mmm." He nods, coming back on line. A bit, anyway. "Yes."

Siv 's relief IS tangible

"Thank you" She says "Thank you both." A smile breaks on her face "YOu've both been so grand. I know this is weird as hell"

"Unusual, perhaps" Jonas corrects "As your mother said"

"It is surprising," Brekke agrees with a nod. "But..." she lowers her voice "...the Dreaming does what it does."

A glance in the direction the little satyr went. "I am surprised she is...well...willing to continue," she says quietly. "But if that is her wish, and all of you agree, then I support your decision. And I look forward to meeting the child."

Internally, she boggles at the thought of exactly what kind of being this particular child might be.

Frank's hand slides a little further coming to rest under Brekke's. "As do I."

A look to Frank and a slight grin. Grandpa.

Siv says "She.. she still has the right to change her mind. We respect that. but aye, looks like you two will be grandparents"

Jonas nods "Thank you both so much. Piper and Siv were very , well, it's big news, they were nervous"

A brow. "You were not nervous?" Slight bemusement.

He ponders this, brows furrowed, "No. They needed me NOT to be." Truthful

Then as an aside "Also, I had my mental collapse when I was first told about it." Also truthful, a bit more sheepish

"Mm."

Siv snerks, then kisses Jonas' cheek, then looks back to her folks "Piper and I found ourselves a good man"

"This I understand," she remarks on Jonas's mental collapse. An amazed headshake. "This will take some time to adjust." She sips her coffee, then looks at their plates of cooling food. "We should eat."

"Yes, we should" Siv nods and takes a bit, between them she says "Poor Piper. Her stomach's a wee bit askew."

"Mm. I have vague memories of that. It is unpleasant."

Brekke eats her breakfast slowly, occasionally looking at Siv with a still-processing expression.

"Well, I hope you or Aunt Kerri could give her some tips in how to help it?" Siv says hopefully

"The Hearth would have clearer memories than I, given where we were."

Frank doesn't try to hold onto Brekke's hand as she eats. He consumes the meal very slowly.
