A brow at her daughter. "Never that."

Jonas nods "yes. We're working on contingencies, finances, considerations for new accomidations if need be"

Siv smiles at her mom's brow, then raises her OWN brow at Jonas ("WE are?")

Jonas ahems "I mean, we will"

A similar brow. "I was thinking more of names, but yes, the rest is important."

"Piper, have you told your mothers?"

Quick shake of her head, curls bouncing. "I bet I know what they'll say. Mama Vera will be fussy because she taught me better" never mind that she IS on BC, but sometimes nothing is 100%... "And Mama Viola will be ready to book me an appointment to take care of my little inconvenience."

A sigh. "I am not sure they'll understand. Neither ever had bio kids of their own, and it wasn't until they were both settled, and off the tour circuits before they knew they were ready to raise a kid."

"Like, getting knocked up? They'll get that. But keeping it?"

Piper trails off.

Some surprise.

A thoughtful frown.

Siv looks troubled

"Perhaps it will not be as you think."

"Maybe..." She says, hesitantly. "I'm no mindreader." An attempt at a reassuring smile to Siv, and she reaches to squeeze the trolless's hand.

"I get the feeling that the Donovan side of things will just be Jonas." She looks to their man for confirmation.

Siv squeezes back "Your body your choice. Not theirs , " A reminder

"Nor mine" Siv admits

Jonas looks over "mm? No I... don't really have family anymore"

"My body, our choice." She says, firmly. "I can decide if I want to have a kid. YOU get to decide if we're raising one. We're in this together, or not at all."

Siv beams at that

Jonas nods

Frank is thoughtful.

Brekke, having finished what she wants of her breakfast, moves her hand to rest atop his.

A shaky laugh. "I wouldn't even DREAM of... I mean, if it wasn't... if I didn't have Siv and Jonas? If it was just a hookup knockup? NO WAY I'd think I was ready... for the whole thing. Having.. being a... a parent. But I think... just maybe, with them on my team? I might not completely screw everything up."

He spreads his fingers to interlace them with Brekke's.

Jonas actually smiles

And Siv has finished her plate

It's still a holiday week, and people are waiting for tables. Maureen is hovering discretely with their check...

Jonas says "Is... everyone done?" Reaching for his credit card

Piper wrinkles her nose at her plate, barely touched, and nods emphatically.

"No offense, honest, I'm sure it was delicious." She reassures the waitress.

Frank nods; he's done eating.

Brekke shakes her head at Jonas. She doesn't often use a credit card, but she has one for special occasions. She offers it over to the waitress.

Jonas inclines his head, yielding THIS time

As he should.
