At the apartment, Siv flops into a couch . "Well, that went better than I thought it might. Thank the Dreaming"

Piper perches on 'her' chair, the wooden carved one with an Owl motif from Tove. It's a tight fit in the shared 1bd but she loves that chair - sized for a troll to sit comfortably, SHE can curl up in it entirely!

"Oof, I know, right? I didn't know what to expect."

"I love my folks, but it was a lot to drop on them" Siv agrees. She smiles at Piper being in 'Piper's throne' as she thinks of it. "Now we only have your moms..." A pause "Do you want to tell Mickey?"

"Oh! Oh, I really should. It's like, though, is this news too big for a text? I think he's in New Orleans this month."

Jonas tuts, a bit stuffily "I think a text wouldn't be appropriate. Invite him to visit us when he can? "

"And then we tell him? That might be a month" Siv considers

"Well, he's not in the RV gossip train, so it should be safe."

Siv ponders "Maybe a voice call?"

"How long do you think we have before the whole barony knows?"

"It depends on the boggans in the barony" Jonas observes, "Once one of them finds out, Lucia, Dame Anne Marie, heck even Cleo... once a boggan finds out, it's on the gossip chain"

"Well, we'll probably see Ramona if we go to the 5th of July party later today."

"oh shoot, and Lucia..." Siv mmms "Well, they're social networkers not MIND readers. They maybe will just sense we're tigher than ever and excited?"

"We can't expect everyone to stay quiet. I mean, there were a bunch of people at that Goldfinch gathering..." Still a little sheepish about how that played out.

"I figure it's a ticking time bomb before the DeBuke's know, which granted, they might not CARE..."

"Oh the DeBukes" Siv realizes "We aree going to get SO much food"

"Beg Pardon?" Jonas inquires

"They do that. They send free food. Mostly veggies.... " Siv says "When Tiffany was pregnant she got buried in squash"

"I like Squash okay. Maybe I'll be excluded because I'm not like, kinfolk. Neither troll nor relative."

"Neither are we," Siv says "So maybe we won't get buried but we are allies and Clem takes that seriously. "

"Maybe we can change our address?" A grin.

"Give them Rikki's unit number. Serve her right to be on that end of a prank for a change!"

Siv looks at her for a moment, then says "I love it."

Jonas tries not to look approvingly at this, but a smile escapes him. A small one.

A look around the apartment, and a small, thoughtful frown.

"What is it, Love?" Siv inquires

"I love this little apartment... but... it IS very 'snug'." Every spare space is used with care to allow for the limited amount of furniture already packed into the 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with kitchenette.

Jonas looks about "I admit, it was bigger than some other single bedroom appartments, but with a baby on the way it ... it will be tight"

Siv looks caught off guard. Clearly SHE did not think of this. Then a bright idea "We could live on the Narwhal!"

Piper blinks. "I guess that worked for you in the dreaming, kinda.. but wouldn't it be worrisome for bedlam reasons, to spend that much time on a chimerical craft? Especially for a mortal..."

"Well I... " Siv pouts a bit "Yeah forgot about the Bedlam risks"

She blows a kiss to Siv. "Good thinking, though."

A sigh. "We can afford this apartment, but a bigger one will be more expensive. I think we can swing it, especially if we give the Super a sob story..."

Jonas ponders "he's a decent man."

Siv says "Well, there is one of the bigger suites, but only a few of those and ... okay. I guess I can get a more full time job at the Marina instead of the part time stuff"

"I'll need to do some budget review. I don't really.. track income. Just, I have money or I don't... I'm actually not sure if I make more on average from tutoring or touring. Touring is fun and easy glamour. Tutoring is local, it's not NOT fun but nothing like a show, and musing is harder work..." She ponders aloud.

"Plus tutoring I have to claim taxes on." A nose wrinkle. "When I tour, I can get away with pocketing cash mostly..."

"I don't want you to give up your touring..." Siv mmphs "But ..."

Blink. "...but?"

"Well... it's not as fun because the crowd is missing, but have ye thought maybe getting help from Tove in getting more of your music online? Patreons and the like?" Siv says "That and the tutoring might help?"

"Oh... I don't LIKE that computer stuff. It's so.... distant."

"And trying to figure out... likes, and hits, and ads... Sylvi told me about her videos once, and I admit, I zoned out halfway through the explanation."

She brightens. "And I can go back on tour once the baby is here. Right!"

Muttering thoughtfully. "Less of the smaller gigs, means a little less glamour, but if I can swing booking bigger venues and get my name out, I can maybe even look into merch..."

"I can work from home" Jonas informs them "And will. One of you loves the sea and exploring. The other loves crowds. I'm the logical one to work remotely"

"How can you help Ann Marie from home?" She seems confused. "Don't you, like... go on site, and stuff?" Realizing that she doesn't really have a grasp of what Jonas does all day.

"Filing is part of it" He says "And online meetings happen. I have done visits on her behalf, but not as much"

A small frown. "Sounds banal... what about, you know, dreamers? Glamour? Jonas-time?"

"I don't want... is this something you want to do? Daddy day care?"

"I'm allowed to go the lodge OR goldfinch any night i need" He reminds. Though he does not mention the dreamers

Siv frowns as well "Jonas, we happen to know you have SOME Dreamers"
