Dagmar gets back to Ocean's Breeze, and hse's fine, totally fine, and not at all nervous.

Dagmar realizes her two 'co heroes' aren't here yet, and the ceremony seems ready to go!

"Dagmar! They got your armor all cleaned up - looks great!"

Piper is in a nicer sundress... she didn't really have much to choose from, it was that or a clubbing cocktail dress or her swim suit or travel jeans...

"Well, that's good..."

Siv is in her Class A captain outfit

"I feel underdressed. Maybe I should switch to the cocktail dress..."

Dagmar spent most of the day in her 'casual' voile - she certainly hadn't packed anything for court.

"Maybe? I mean, the Baroness was pretty fancy."

Indeed, a servant comes up "Ah, all of you are here. May Iguide you to the changing rooms?" A bit of an eye twitch

"...Changing rooms?"

"Yes, please, we've some gowns for you or shine your amor if you prefer"

"...gowns?"

"YEs, for the ceremony?" the boggan twiches as if folks have walked into a job interview for a high exec position wearing flip flops

"I.. uh... which way?"

"Oh, thank you..."

Soon the three are dressed up in gowns, options are fancy, everything from high heels of high class, to opera gloves

It just happened

Piper zips after the boggan, eager to see what they have. She seems surprised by Dagmar, "I figured you'd wear the armor.."

Dagmar purples. "Does it look stupid? It looks stupid." The trolless is in a foresty green gown with flowing sleeves, trimmed in gold and belted with a silken purple sash.

"It look.gorgeous" Siv says

"It's a pretty dress... I guess they had my measurements from the swimsuit? Boggans are.... something else."

"No, it looks.... honestly, great. It's cut to your height, so it works well." Trotting around to admire from all angles. Her own dress evokes the Hold's aquatic theme nicely.

"I like your blue."

"She does look good wrapped in blue" Siv grins

"Oh god. Fiona."

"No need to worship, just admire" Siv turns in her own gown loftily, then snorts "Sorry, chaneling a sidhe on a bad day"

Piper laughs easily.

"Once more, into the breach?"

Dagmar trails a hand over the fine fabric, still blushing a bit. "Well, we're all dressed up already."

"Yes, let's go" Siv guides them, calm cool, collected

Dagmar holds her skirts as she walks, torn between pleased and anxious.

A boggan guides them in from the side, and a voice announces "I give you the brave visitors who risked their lives for us" the Baroness Beryl's voice and they come out into the raised area of a a kind of stage, and they are, fortunately, on the less crowded sidhe. Siv whispers "Curtsy low when she turns to see us"

there must be at least two dozen in the audiance who clap as they come in

Piper is quick to obey SIv, not even minding, really, for that luminous Selkie lady.

Dagmar.. bows. Woops.

Beryl doesn't mind the bow at all, and curtseys back, just a little bit, then motions and the crowd applause dies down so she can speak "Dame Dagmar of Rivervale, did her falcon House proud! She showed the arts of Kyros are not only learned on the shores, and that that ancient sea born art thrives! She wounded the foe again and again, but it was her unleashing that truly ended it's near invulnerablity' Cheers break out

So many selkie, and is that a mer noble in some kind of balcony seat?

A nervous smile. (Make Rivervale proud!) She stands up nice and straight.

"Lady Captain Siv Waveborn's timely arrival came to divert it's attention, and fearllessly did our Sea lioness strike the gut of the monster even as the head was broken! the writhing it would have done had it 'merely' been headless would have surely killed more" The Baroness says

Siv takes the applause almost as if a performer, curstesying to the crowd as well as the Baroness

She blinks a bit when the Baroness refers to Siv as our, a little worried at the possessiveness. Though it may just be a turn of phrase...

Sneaking a hand over to hold Siv's.

"And lastly, but not least, credit must be given to Piper! though not of our barony, satyrs here should cheer that she showed one does not need a title to show heroism! Her songs gave us courage! Her magics kept Dame Dagmar from drowning! her fleetness got her everywhere others needed her to be!"

Piper notes the satyrs in the crowd really woop for her

And yes, Siv takes her hand back

She bows her head and waves, modestly.

"To each of them, credit is due. Praise is due. Yet when folks have spoke of their heroism to them, do you know what they said? Thehy spoke of the others doings, and they spoke of the courage of our thanes! they spoke of the sacrifice of our knights!" The Baroness says

Surprised stunned looks as this all sinks in, and this applause, this cheer at this, is louder than before
