When Siv and Piper return to the assigned room post-party, they find a sleeping Dagmar curled up with a pillow in her arms and a contented smile on her face. The Dress has been carefully hung up on the closet door, lest it wrinkle.

Siv beams "Hey, they hit it off" She peeks "met Uva. Never met an Eshu with so many stories about animals"

Indeed, Uva's phone number is on a napkin on the nightstand.

Piper notices this and grins

Siv turns back and whispers to Piper "And I bet Celia and Stanly are quite happy this morning too, you little match maker" PROUD

A grin, which turns into a yawn.

"Tired on me?" Siv says "I'll ravish you in an ailil hold later" She coaxes her to the bed

"Well, yes, tired, and also..." She nods towards the snoozing Dagmar. "Polite." A small smile. "I owe Dagmar for this... she helped a lot." Still whispering to keep from waking the troll up.

"Dags is our Galahad, you know? I think that's the one. The pure of heart who can find the holy grail? " WHispering back

"Mmmhmm." Stripping down to her underthings, not bothering with PJs and curling into the bed next to Siv.

Siv admires "Course, there's some fun in bieng one of the not so pure knights. Later we have got to face the peril but now... rest on me breast, me love" And she disrobes to cuddle and snooze with the woman she adores

Before they fall asleep, Piper murmurs, "Did you mean what you said, about looking for my birth-mum?"

"Yes. I'm a Fiona. Questing for our loved ones is our jam" SNuggle "And Mickey gave us a clue. Not sure if it was on purpose"

"If it wasn't some pooka trick to throw us off. I was surprised by how upset he was by the question... but it was my fault for prying."

"Possible he was upset because he knew it might damage your new relationshjip" Siv says

A pause. "You think..." She considers. "...that he was upset that I might be mad that he said no, or that I might be mad at him if I met her and got her side of the story.... or something else?" A sigh. "I'm tired and this is all so confusing."

"More the former. He likes you, sees something of himself in you maybe, but better, and he doesn't want you to resent him just because he is trying to be honorable as pooka can be"

A soft kiss "Get some sleep. I'm here for you. I'll quest for you."

"Love you, babe." She murmurs, drifting to sleep.

And soon, our heroines snooze

First asleep, first awake - Dagmar might well have gotten through her Morning Routine and her shower before Siv & Piper awake. Sit-ups aren't very noisy.

Nope, and Siv sleeps soundly

Even if she might get cold little hooves against her

The Dress is very carefully packed up, and her bed is made. No need to wake up the pair! While not explicitly talked about, the Narwhal should be done today, and that means time to go home.

...With the Squire.

Well. Chief will know what to do! And maybe he will be a good fit? Olgar is unseelie. Dagmar has been. Brogan's an unseelie house. Symon and Dirk.

And he's a troll, so Dagda would apply regardless of season.

She's not sure where to find him but he's in the hold somewhere

And so, she sets out - looking for a page or a boggan to help.

She does find a page, a childling piskie dressed in orange save for the ocean breeze tabard. Piskies being pages is like a new trend

She crouches, resting her hands on her thighs so she can be closer to the childling's level. "Hello. I am trying to find Squire Valert. Could you help me?"

"You mean.. squire Valter?"

"Pardon, yes. Sorry."

"Yes. I can show you. Follow me" And the little page takes off at an undignifed run to 'show' her... forcing her to at least walk at a brisk pace

LONG steps!

They find the grump polishing the armor of other knights, his strong fingers using the cloth and oil to put every bit to a high shine. It is odd, seeing this duty in a troll of his years. While no senior citizen, she's ussed to Connor and othe rchildlings taking up that task or she does it herself

"Squire, the knight Dagmar wanted to see you" The page says then tursn to Dagmar "Here he is"

A little furrow between her brows.

"Thank you, Page. You can go back to your duties now."

The page says "Kay" And RUNS off to where ever other duties are.

Squire Valter stops his work, rises, and bows

"Hi. Um, we didn't properly meet yesterday. I'm Dagmar." She offers out a hand.

"Squire Valter" he says

And takes the hand

"It's nice to meet you, Squire Valter. I wanted to find you, since we're probably leaving today. Um. Are you okay with this?"

"I am" he says. True.

A thoughtful expression. "Okay. It's hard to upend your whole life without warning. I... " A crease between her brows again as a thought occurs. "How can I help you get ready? Would you prefer more time, because I'm sure I can make that happen, too."

"You need not worry about upending my life" Also true . He somberly considers her comemnts "I am packed and ready to depart when need be. I will not slow you down, Knight."

"Please, call me Dagmar. And if you want to leave today, we can make that happen, too. Nee-... Want a hand with the armor?"
