Ready to release it to the sea

"THanks" the boggan says to Dagmar "The lever was MY idea"

Seeing the sea water pour in, Squire Valter heads up the ramp next at first a brisk run, then .. he slows, until at the top of the ramp he looks a bit wobbly, then he gets onto the deck itself

Dagmar sticks close - protective-mode engaged.

All on board, the ship slips off and out into the sea, and Valter has to remove his backpack and s teady himself. He looks pained

Dagmar offers an arm to steady him. "This will be quick."

"I will be..fine" That word again

Siv looks at them "Is the ocean making him Sick?"

"Siv, just make this quick!"

"The Lake at home" Siv says to the ship and it plunges

and Valter falls to his knees, looking sick and with no strength at all

Dagmar drops to one knee beside him, in case he needs to lean.

Well, she's there as they plunge through the Narwha;'s magic transit.

And then, they have left the sea, rising in the lake and he gasps with relief the pain gone, his strength returning "Fresh water" He notes

"You have to drive a few hours to hit actual ocean from here. The Bay is kinda mixed, I think?"

"Okay, Squire, I'm glad you're okay, but what the heck is that about?" Siv says , no, insists!

She stands, offering Valter a hand up.

He stiffens and rises, taking the hand but seems able on his own "I am cursed, on sea, I am.. weak. And in pain"

A frown. "I'm sorry. You shouldn't have to go through that again."

"That's terrible" Siv blinks "I.. can't imagine. HOw did that happen?"

"I prefer not to say, but will tell your Chief if she wishes" The squire says

"Chief will know what's best."

She snags Valter's pack as well as her own. "Let's go. It's not a bad walk "

Piper reached out and pats him on the arm reassuringly. “It’ll be okay.”

A brow at the familiarity "I can carry my own pack again, please?"

"I have my pride" he explains

"Sorry." And she offers him the pack back.

HE takes it and waits for the ladies to take lead "After you, Knights and Miss"

"We're home now so Dagmar is okay for me. Chief is Chief, though."

"Yes, Dagmar" the Squire says "Let me know if I need to carry anything for any of you" he eyes pipers pack "or organize it better for you"

And to the lodge they go...

"I got it!" She says, insisting. After all, it's not that far.
