"...May I invite some friends?"

A surprised blink at Zara. "Friends? I do not see why not. Do we know them?"

"Mmm. A few?"

"Worry not, you will hardly notice them at all, but they might enjoy the theme."

Coradel grins. "I suspect they may contribute to it."

"I believe they all have visited Earth Runes before..." She taps her chin.

"Indeed? And I've not been introduced? Really, Zara, I'm disappointed."

A brief little smile at Cora's suspicion.

A very slight wink.

August just looks confused.

"Ah, forgive - I am the social butterfly of my kith. Terribly outspoken and extroverted."

"Yes, quite the gadabout. Now, August...what do you think might contribute to the theme, beyond what we've already suggested?"

"Oh, I... ah, I'm not.... I can't say that I have any ideas."

Zara suddenly rattles - her 'tittering' is a rather ghastly sound.

August, accustomed to it, gives her a nervous grin.

But her mirth? She glows like a pearly ghost. "Pray, forgive."

"Forgive. But wouldst not Vashti most delight in crafting moth-eaten attire?"

"I fear being a sibling to a pooka hath ruined me." More raspy giggles.

He chuckles a little.

"There are many elegant options. Mayhaps an Undead Marie Antoinette and Louis? With a most elegant choker of blood ringed round... if anyone could carry off that hair, nu?"

"Oh! I hadn't even considered persona! I was merely going for the look, but you're right, that would be a brilliant couples piece!"

He looks just a little pained.

"Even merely picking different eras...."

"Earl looks most dashing in Regency..."

"I can imagine it," she says with a nod. "Oh, Jack and Vince are likely to concoct some brilliant drinks. Ah! We should have half-open coffins standing up against the walls, as if we'd all just emerged...." she wavers her fingers spookily.

"A Dance of the Dead!"

"Or...does that twist the theme too much? Might we overload on zombies?"

"Jack has a drink which emits a delightful murky fog, just like a swamp. I am certain he could make wonderful drinks."

"Mmm. Fair point."

"Though zombies are... feh. We wish for ghosts and liches. Spectres. Zombies are not elegant."

A pause. "Vampires might be acceptable..."

"And well, one may be decrepit AND alive."

"Miss Havisham, nu? Or some DIckensian Urchins, for the children."

"This is my thinking. I want to make sure the living tatterdemalions are also welcome. So...no coffins."

"Decay, not death."

"Yes. And...corruption. But not death."

"And... decay feeds life, and Samhain is about the cycle..."

A warm smile. "Beautiful ruination."

"Mushrooms?"

"Oooooh! Yes!"

"Fungus, all along the walls," she gestures.

"Oooo, that has fashion potential..."

August may be hoping to be dressed as a morel....

"I think we have a plan," she proclaims, and she stands gracefully. "Will you excuse me? I must go speak with Vashti."

August stands as well.

Coradel turns to him and claims a lingering kiss.

This always manages to startle him but.... he returns it.

She pulls away gracefully, trailing her fingers down his chest. Then a turn, and a little wave to both. "I'll leave you to your readings. Bronte, as well."

She sweeps out of the library and off to find Vashti.
