Zara has always skirted the boundaries between Seelie and Un, rarely plunging entirely into one court or the other. Others in the hold cannot say the same, and Samhain is closing

Leonora has become positively shameless, her often tight voile more so. Velvet found the book, and it seems to have done her a world of good as the squire indulges in her heritage as a teacher of terror on the side.

But then, perhaps, Zara's soul is native to a Court now lost. Not that she minds the heady indulgence of Winter, or the genteel thrill of Spring.

True, the lore of the Autumn of spring courts, lost to most, is in her grasp.

Her love Earl seems to be happily unseelie, and it has affected his wardrobe as per usual. Earl dresses nicer when he's unseelie. Ironic given how hsi cousin tends to bare her midriff. Where as Earl manages to tie the perfect cravat

Of course, Zara has kept up her own studies. Currently she is reading some of Emmit's notes on Samhain per the farm, and contrasting them with old script from the former and now departed Eiluned baron. Bottling samhain mists can be done. She's seen it. But she has never done it before.

She is no pooka, but the idea of dropping a vial of it in a room full of stuffed shirt seelies thinking themselves above balance tickles some part of her perhaps. Or perhaps she is thinking.. beyond that.

VERY tickled. Though she does need to see Emmitt regarding that Eiluned...

OH yes. She could go now if she likes. He makes time for her. She's his favorite student, she is sure.

If she's right, she could do more than bottle samhain mists, or capture Beltaine light.. she might be able, temporarily, of course, to create a mixing that allowed others to go Autumn or Spring court themselves! As far as she knows, no one has done it before. the researcher in her might find impossible not to be intrigued by (that and that flaw). It would be a slow working , certainly not something she could use this close to samhain, the balance would be inherently off... unless she did the mixing to pull it back from Samhain ... really fascinating to contemplate.

Not so much playing with others for just the entertainment, but for the learning. How would a hold run under the autumn or spring beliefs? that IS lost lore

But her book is certainly proof that Court manipulation is possible outside of the Dreaming, and her own fuzzy memories of her time with the Lost One know that other Legacies may yet be found.

A tricky working - but then, Zara is a Namer.

Yes, she may have more than one reason to visit Emmit

The hard part will be swaying her sometimes mentor that this is needed. Even as the 'wildheart of old' he can be a touch stuffy about experiments. Trolls.

Trolls. Oh, why does she love them so?

Speaking of which, while she could take the trods, she also has a lover who will provide passage at her slightest upturn of eyebrow, or subtlest of pouts. That is a most pleasing notion on some levels. she is both an independent young researcher AND treasured and adored. And Fiona think THEY know romance others envy.

And so, let's see, a lesson for that Eiluned and Fiona fellow who far overstepped, and reasearch into the courts.

Tzip seems to be doing well, and Velvet has been growing, and oh, Lily! Zara is proud of the little WItchling.

She is no knave that must corrupt others, despite her nickname among the Farm. But curiosity is her , well, the ignorant would call it a flaw. Yet nother thing thing on the check in list

Squire Velvet enters in, her voile decidedly more shroud like "Miss Zara, I had the most wonderful experience. A mortal nearly died .. I do not seek death, of course, but I enchanted him for surgery to induce a 'near death vision'... I gained the most fascinating insights"

"Aye? Come, if you would care to join me for tea and share what thou hath learned?"

"Oh yes," She takes a seat, "My pleasure. Twas most extraordinary. The poor fellow was flat lining, or so the paramedics said. I enchanted him and hopped along on the ride, unbennownst to those in the ambulance with me. From there, I used veil and began to muse ... but here I am gushing before tea is set." A smile

Zara is beginning the ritual of Tea, and listening.

"Aye, tis meet to share the space with some conversation while the brew is prepared - nu?" Encouraging.

"Of course, I am so very caught away in the memory of it, I lose manners" She helps set the tea too, and when they are both seated, says "One hopes your own day has been insightful?"

"My studies have been... productive, aye."

"Excellent," Velvet nods "I believe it was you who told me that we are a learned kith and education of ourselves and others must be paramount"

"We are. Other kiths may have their misperceptions of what we do... but that is their own ignorance."

"Yes," A sigh "Even Tylar, who knows me well atimes misunderstands"

"Boggans, like Trolls, mean well..."

"They so often need guidance" A lament , a fondness, a fact

"Exactly."

A sip of tea, "Thank you for the loan of the book, by the way. Most insightful"

Zara smiles. "I'm glad."

"It did Tylar some good as well" A smile

"Oh!" Pleased.

A sly smile, then she says "Ah, but it is fun luring one into a trap. Even a harmless one"

"Thou wouldst do a spider proud."

She preens a bit "Well, one has good role models" She eyes the sisters in the cobwebs about them

"Aye. They are quite the lot, aren't they?" Quatre, of course, has stationed herself near Velvet - the squire is a favorite of Four's.

Velvet will no doubt try to slip Quatre some blood soon, or at least popcorn

"Exceptional" She nods and sips her tea again "Ah, do forgive. Whree was I regarding the gent who nearly died?"
