"It says Slygg on his computer here" Tylar calls

"HEY, that's MY computer"

"That could be a... handle, it's called, isn't it? And online name?"

"What aboutt it?" Slygg /Sam says "Why are you here?"

"To talk to you. I realized recently that I haven't really met too many of the people here in the Barony, and I thought I should make the effort."

"Well, you met me. Go away"

"If you like. Oh, before I go...." having given no sign he was actually going to go "...is there anything you're in need of, or that would make things easier for you?"

Temeriy calls out "No fonging?"

"There's ANOTHER of you?" Sylgg sa

says*

Tylar looks confused

and igves his baron a questioning look

A gentle smile. "There are many, yes. Are you not connected to the other Fae in the Barony?"

"Bunnchalosers.." the redcap is lookingg freaked out

"Oh, I think we might have something to offer. Have you ever been to the Barony seat?"

"No. I done nnothing wrong..." He says

Tylar coughs "My lord?"

"Yes?" he glances at Tylar.

"could I talk to you in private for a seconnd, my lilege?" Tylar says

"Will you excuse us.... ah, sorry. How did you want to be called?"

"Whateveerr" the young wilder cap says "Sam if you want"

Tylar pulls his lordship aside "Baron? Why are ... I mean, this guy threattens a dreamer online, with ravaging, and we're bending over to be nice to him?"

"Sam. A pleasure. I'm Baron August Truthbranch. Excuse me a moment." he turns "Yes, Squire?" and they move to speak privately.

(Tylar's comment once hey're alone so.. August is up)

"More flies with honey, Squire. No reason to be overbearing, is there?"

"I don't know, lord, seems like we're all honey and no flies" Tylar frowns "but..he's asking us to leave, now what?"

"The polite thing to do is to leave. Be a good man; I think the Dame may be in his room? Can you please ensure a few of his personal items end up in our pockets? Quietly. I dislike this but...."

Tylar nods "yes sir."

and they go out

August returns to the room Sam is in.

Sam is glaring "Uh could you guys GO now? My parennts might come in and right of ignorance"

"Of course, of course. Sam, please feel free to come to the manor if you have any need. Especially Glamour. I would hate to think that anyone was in need and those needs weren't met. Do you understand?"

"uh.. uhm.. yeah" he says "Don't worry, ... I ain't hurting for glamour"

"An interesting statement." August nods slowly, keeping eye contact. "Did I mention my House?"

"You're a liam..."

He tries to look a bit defiant but he's uncomfortable saying it

"And you know how protective of mortals we can be. So please, ensure you're sourcing your Glamour honorably." A mild smile. "And have a good evening. Sam."

"Tylar? The door, please."

the boy swallows "Good.. good evening"

Tylar opens the door for his liege

August (and Tylar and presumably Temerity) depart, going back to the car for a quick debrief.

Temerity says "No blood, I am saddened" She says "oh, hair though" She hands Sam's hair over

"Well done, Dame." August folds it in a clean hanky. "Well done, all. Thank you." He heads them back to EarthRunes.

"I'm sorry, Baron. I didn't understand, but a that end. It carried more punch when you wrapped it in velvet" Tylar says "Do you think it sunk in?"

"I hope so. We'll follow up, I think."

temerity says "I remember when a redcap was a cap, brutality incarnate, they'd come through your wall like a termite from hell to kill you.. they did not get a username to do it either"
