August has a choice to make, which Truthbranch house member to send to Scarsdale?

August takes his time review his records and notes, and thinks about the question and possible answers. He's not rash or impulsive by nature; this question deserves consideration.

He writes two notes, and passes them to Benny. "Please ask, ah, Dame Frieda and Baronette Genua to join me."

Benny nods "YES sir, baron sir" he salutes and rushes off

August also asks for some refreshments, and tidies up his study as he waits.

It takes a bit, for not all are in the immediate area, but word is swift, Benny getting help if he needs it, and Damn..er Dame Frieda arrives

The nocker comes first, wheeling up to the door in a scooter that belches out steam every now and then. Oddly, it often leaves large letters of steam that say 'Surrender, Dorothy'

"Baron? You furkin whistled, here I am.." She raises a brow "Wow.. grub. I joined the right Bannerhouse"

"Please come in, be seated. I have something I'd like to talk to you about, if I may."

"Sure, you're the boss..." She sits down as directed

"Thank you, young man" A voice in the hallway

"Ah, that should be Benny with the Baronette."

Baronette Genua is a boggan Grump who has always been a natural matchmaker. She joined House Fiona at an early age, but grew a bit disillusioned with some activities of her new house sisters and brothers and even got into a quarrel about playing with mortal hearts! Bannerhouse Truthbranch struck her as being just the thing to be Fiona and yet fuel the dreaming with positive mortal love! While her title is equal to a baroness, she goes by Baronette for she is unlanded and considers herself over a knight but still under barons. She is dressed in semi casual outfit and she comes in "Baron! Lovely! Oh, hello Dame. What task awaits us? Love in need of a push?"

"Hello, Baronette" The nocker says "Have some nosh"

"Are you familiar with the situation at Alabaster Hollows?"

He gestures them to sit and take refreshment, and then seats himself.

"I've heard gossip, of course," the Baronette says "Quite a sticky situation all around if I recall? Rumor was the nobles were acting like asses all over, not just the ones that visited here. "

"Yeah, a nocker behind it all, thanks for the good rep kith sister" A snort from Frieda

August nods. "How would you feel about visiting the Hollows, seeing what you could learn?"

"Oh, Baron, I'll go where I'm sent but isn't our focus on mortals?" the bogan says "I love a chance to save the day as much as any Fiona, but are we intriguing here? Because my focus is on matchmakin"

"Huh, I'd go if you want," the nocker says "But shit, what the furk are we wantingg to learn exactly? I mean, I'd be honored to learn from some of the masters there on the side ... but I'd probably look afer the kids most. They're the ones who have to grow up in that tension"

"I wouldn't ask you to do anything, ah, underhanded or unethical." he says sincerely "I am sure there are opportunities at the Hollow to pursue our callings under the banner. "

"It may even be that what has happened has interfered with Dreamers, with mortals, with Fae relationships. Hurt feelings, estranged families, even broken hearts."

"Well, it seems like we're both in if you furking want us to be htere, boss..err Baron" Frieda says

"Quite so" Genua nods "When do you need us to go, Baron? "

"I'm glad to hear that. Ah." an awkward (if endearing) pause "I should say that... were it known you served the bannerhouse... and, ah, myself.... you might find fewer opportunities."

The Baronette sighs "I guess I can play the meddlesome boggan Fiona auntie without mentioning my loyalties to a banner house"

"Easy for you to say ," The Nocker says "they're onna smell Liam over me.. and I'm not ashamed of it, but not sure hidin the banner house will help"

"Liam... have faced challenges there." August says apologetically "It may not be easy but... you have Kithmates at the Hollows who might assist you in need. Masters Hiriam and Ratchet."

"Oh geez if I show up to them I better bring my A game at crafting" She says "they're K-nockers , alder.."

"Ikh visn ober vos kenen ir ton?" I know, but what can you do?

"HA" She laughs "You're full of furkin surprises, boss"

A shy smile. "I learned from their niece."

"oh yes, Miss Zara, lovely girl I hear" Genua says "Though everytime I try to learn about her, some sluah gives the fish eye"

"I would consider it a personal favor, a debt owed, if you would not... and would encourage others not... to press that subject too deeply." quietly.

"Well, surely, Baron. I don't try to cause trouble"

"I never thought otherwise." steadfastly.

They enjoy the meal

"To answer your question, Dame, as soon as you are both ready to leave. Please see me beforehand; I can give you names and some background information, and some dross."

"Hey," Frieda says between bites, "If we find more anarchists or something there you want us to shut them down?"

"That might stray too close into the political situation there; I would not want to risk the appearance that you seek to usurp the Count's prerogatives." gently "If you have evidence, take it to the Count or his people."

"Yeah, nobles are furking thin skinned" Frieda says

August clears his throat. "Some, perhaps." diplomatically.

"Dame Frieda" The Baronette reminds "WE Are nobles"

"Rigghtt, so we oughta know" Frieda says

"I'm sure no one would think -you- were thin-skinned." August assures them.

"too kind" Genua says with humor

Frieda says "Okay... I'm gonna go pack... be back later for those details"

"I'll have them ready." he pledges.

"I should go get packed as well, thank you for the wonderful meal" Genua says "Don't worry, my lord, we won't let you down"
