August dries his hands on a napkin (the spilled drink having included his hands in the targeting) and turns "Ah, no, Shallimar. Is this a lawyer joke?"

"There was a Lawyer who decided to try Viagara" The Jester says then he takes a sip "He immediately got taller"

August thinks about that.

"Ah." after a long moment, he nods. "I get it."

"Careful you don't burst your sides now" The Jester says with a sigh

"Sorry, Shallimar." he says sincerely.

A wink, and a grin and a pat on the shoulder

At least he gets a sip of juice before moving on to greet other guests.

Earl's eyes are large and seem riveted to Zara but then he does realize Miriam is there "Hey, Miriam, can I get you a drink?"

"Nah." to Earl's offer, but she starts digging through fabric "Like.... like a shade or something?

Miriam grumbles, but that's more comforting background noise than anything else.

She pulls out a light, frothy fabric, and makes a face at it. "Stupid eshu. Never did find a use for it."

"Oh, I think it's lovely..."
