"Hey, that's a great gift"

"Fiona are a gift, yes."

"I mean, massaging.. it's a great gift to give if you know how to do it"

He knew that's what she meant; he's grinning. "Anytime, just say the word."

"Mmm Thank you. I may take you up on that"

"Cool."

"Hey, are there any other things you'd like to do together? Like, on weekends or whatever?"

"I like hiking" She admits

"Awesome! Let's do that sometime. I mean.... a little cold now, but....."

"Yeah, it'll be better in spring" she says "But.. you know what, when it does, sure"

"Cool." he smiles.

He ponders a moment. "So let me ask a question, and you be honest; you won't hurt me, ok?"

"We kinda agree that it would be nice to be Someone Special to Someone. Am I right thinking that you're interested in being exclusive on that?"

"maybe... I think it's easier to be someone special to someone when you're hte only one"

He nods. "Ok, so.... we're not talking about that with each other. Keep it flirting friends." he checks.

"RIght..sure" She says..

He checks, gauging her expression for sincerity.

"Sure?"

"No. not sure. I'm an Eshu, sometimes we get reckless"

Adam laughs. "Was that what happened on Samhain?"

She snorts "Yes ,probably"

He laughs. "I kinda like the idea of being something reckless."

"Egotist" She laughs

"Hey, I have my faults and flaws and all but -you- are the one who said I was something reckless. Well, probably reckless."

"Anyway. I just wanted to, you know, check-in. We good?"

She kisses him on the lips, then parts "We good"

Oh, he kisses her right back when she leans in. "Awesome." he sounds pleased.

And she rises to go

"Hey. We still need to go dancing, if you're still into it." But he doesn't say it to keep her, just as a reminder.

"Definitely! This weekend?"

"Hell yeah!" He says enthusiastically "You still ok with Nab coming along for a ride?"

"Yeah sure" She says "She should get out some"

And off she goes

Adam takes the mugs to the kitchen staff and then goes to see what's going on!

Well, there's always something going on.. and he soon finds himself with odd jobs since he has too much free time

Earl's garret is off limits to snoops, all snoops save one. And she is currently in Earl's lap on his bed as he and she share some talk.

"So these last lessons with Uncle Emmit have you really close?" He asks

"Feh!"

"Sometimes I think... but it's so... none of it is written down, really, you need to know what to change the name too."

"Which means you.. need an example of the goal to sain that ... so you better your chances?"

"Aye..."

"But.. such an example does not likely exist"

"Aye. So.. you must learn many names..."

"And from there, deduce what each rune means..."

Thoughtful "The maker of the chain was a Dougal, yes?"

"Aye?"

"I wonder if any of his other lingering crafts or treasures, those that survived, would give a clue on what the existing ones could be bent or repurposed to?"

"Mayhaps..."
