August dances, and more importantly, a certain man has brought his wife to dance lessons with him.

The warm glow of love rekindled is almost heady, glamour flowing from the now happy couple

August keeps his soft smile polite and modest; perhaps his partner thinks it is for her... but he does feel a sense of reward.

And soon the event ends, and he steps out side feeling...

Temerity waits for him!

He nods. "Hello. News?" He offers to walk away from mortal ears with her.

"Aye, my lord, though may I say, that fresh pine scent suits you" She sniffs the glamour from his musing

As they walk "My lord, there are serpents, that do not repent, and needs their scales rent. Sir Carowyn hath passed on a letter, and now, you must play take away to get it" She offers him a scroll

He accepts. "Thank you. News from Rivervale?" He opens and reads it.

Sir Carowyn has sent news of events going on in Bergen. While the trolls have much protection going on, he himself is focusing himself with protection of the dreamers and would like another knight for back up. He's already stopped two ravagers

"Dame...." he offers the scroll as a faster way to communicate "If you wish, you are one of our most skilled warriors. I will give you the honor, if you wish it."

"YES! I SHALL SMITE THEM WITH SUCH RIGHTEOUS IRE that Their next five reincarnations will walk with a limp!" Temerity chortles, then coughs before anyone nearby can stare "Yes, I suppose it will pass the time"

The young man looks left and right but then nods with a soft chuckle. "I think we have some dross for you to take with you. Do you need anything else?"

"Bah, would that I had but a butterknife, the greater the glory" She assures

"I'm sure the kitchen could supply you. Would you like a ride back?" He gesture to his Prius.

"Tally ho" She follows him to the Prius "A prius? Isn't this the sort of car that get stuck in Pick Up grills?"

"It gets me too and from." mildly "Better for the environment too. And sneaky-quiet." He gets her door for her.

"Ah, I myself have never needed stealth. Cats are a cowardly superstitious lot" She slips in

He shuts the door, gets himself seated, and off they go! (Quietly!)

"Our priorities will be to kill the Balor scum, deflower the Ravagers, and protect the dreamers - in that order" She nods "Sir Franklyn is said to be a fine Pooka himself of House Liam... a Moose pooka? "

August takes a deep breath. "He is a credit to our House, yes. Sir Carowyn should have a positive relationship with him. You might make use of that. I am confident in Sir Franklyn's priorities, and in Baroness Brekke's leadership."

She nods "I hope to test him in a wrestling contest soon "

"Ah. Yes."

"Any reports you would like taken?"

August considers, nods. "A few notes. See me before you depart."

She nods as they drive to Earth RUnes proper

On the grounds, they disembark and move into the Freehold.

Thane Oswald awaits them. "Good to see you, Baron, Dame" he bows

"Good to see you, Oswald." August nods, pauses. "Are you feeling well?"

"No , Baron." He answers honestly

"You look tired." he commiserates. "Have you been to the healer?"

"Oh this is all Emma's fault" he groans "She made me agree to hold back on watching the Mandelorean second second with her and Poppy. I've been trying to avoid spoilers for ever. I think I'm getting the shakes."

August chuckles. "You're a good man. Are you sure you understood her correctly? Why is she waiting to watch it?"

"So Poppy could get her homework done" A pause "I think. I mean, Poppy told me that..." A pause "Oh that little sneak. I think it's possible I've been pooked."

Temerity raises a brow "Why's it got to be a POOK thing, sirrah? Art though profiling?"

"I.. uhm.." The THane looks haplessly to the Baron for help

August has to shrug.

"Permission to end my shift early, Baron?" He says hopefully

"I don't have that authority, Thane, I'm sorry." sincerely.

He sighs "I understand"

"Mmph thou art blessed above all men, thane. I needs must prepare for a quest"

"I'll get those notes together, Dame, and dross. Meet me in my study."

The thane wipes his brow

August goes to his study and jots a few notes; greetings to the Baroness of Rivervale and a seperate one to Sir Franklyn, still a third to Sir Carowyn. These includes introductions (as necessary) for Dame Temerity and words of greeting to Lady Captain Siv. He gathers together a bit of dross.

The knight waits patiently

"Here you go, and thank you for your patience." He hands the packet over.

She takes it, "My lord... " She bows "I shall show the glory of they arm manifest"

"I'm most grateful, Dame." he bows back.

She tromps off singing the suffragette song

August smiles again at the memory of his success, and steps on to his next appointment.
