And "Adam.. your mom tells me you're upset about her and your father's trial separation. " A pause "And that you might be mad at me"

"Huh? Nah, they're not really separating."

He takes a pause so not to have a sip go down the wrong throat "Oh? "

"Nah. Not really."

"Why do you think this?"

" 'Cause they're not. They can't. They love each other, and Lily, and me."

"They do love each other, Lily and you" he says "But that doesn't mean that they might not separate"

"Mm." a sound, and a swig.

"It might look like they do, but they won't. Not really."

"I think that's what the trial is for, to see how they handle it. It's possible they'll get back together, but.. they're not together now"

"Sure they are." Adam says stubbornly.

His mentor sips ,e then says "Adam.. your dad is in Rivervale. Your mom is in this fief. They haven't spoken to each other in three days"

"How would you know?"

"Because I've checked up on them " he says

Adam frowns. "There's a reason for that.Must be."

"For me to check on them? I want to make sure they're okay. A reason for them to not talk? Because it's a trial separation"

Adam scowls more deeply. "They're -not- separating." he insists.

"Let's hope" He says kindly "But Adam, you might want to be braced for the chance. However slim"

"No." Stubborn. "They aren't breaking up."

He sighs and simply says "I hope you're right" And then he says "Good lord, Nab may not be as good a player at tennis as Leonora but she scampers after that ball beautifully"

Adam looks back at the ladies and grins.

Indeed this isn't a contest, Leonora is clearly teaching her

"Nice of Dame Leonora to work with her."

"I think she enjoys the company. Leonora can be a social creature. She's an extrovert, likes crowds"

"Yeah. This COVID thing sucks."

"It's hell on most satyrs" he sighs "And some Fiona. "

"I'm not loving it either."

"I bet not" A nod

Adam watches tennis, as a small frown creeps back to his face.

"Good work, Nab!" Leo says as Nab geets one back "Just don't kill yourself. You can't bounce them back, Prone"

Adam cheers for Nab!!

"But I do my best stuff on my back sometimes" Nab quips

"HA" The sidhe laughs

Bachdion says " think they might be becoming friends?"

"That'd be nice."

"I really should be teaching you something, but they are just very distracting to watch"

"How is your ettiquette coming along?"

"Pretty good I think. Grand Dame Bondraste seems happy with it.

"She has a bias towards you" A laugh
