Adam, slightly bruised, scratched, stiff, sore, and marked, rests in bed with a dazed expression this morning.

Nabuni tends to him "Ooh poor baby. You okay?"

Chances are good she could choose to know the answer; if she likes, it would be easy to feed from his memories.

"Huh? Yeah, fine." A bewildered grin.

True. And she drinks it in, yet she founds it a bit soured by the fact Stevi didn't give warning "Gonna need to talk to that country girl"

"That was.... uh, pretty intense. Is it always like that when someone's unseelie?"

"Oh Seelie can be just as intense" She says "I dont' really have courts I have.. mallebiility, it's not the same " She says "But every kithian has a different uhm. niche? Some actually get too selfish to be good lovers or their interests aren't carnal, just like some Seelie might be too prissy or self contained. "

"She didn't seem into anything that hardcore when we've been together before."

"That's what I meant by intense. Hardcore. I mean... I didn't have to safe word but there were a few times I thought I might."

"There's SUPPOSED to be" She says with a bit of ire "There's... rules. " A pout "Matters of trust."

"Oh, I-had- a safe word." he assures her. "I just didn't use it. That was me."

"Oh" A pause"Hmm. well, okay"

"Whew." Another little surge at a particular memory.

"Hey.... thanks." He draws her close for a kiss.

She drinks in the memory "whoo" And.then gives him a kiss , a long one, before parting "Maybe it's good she did get intense. Took your mind off things. I know you were hurting"

"Oh. Yes." And there it is again.

"And i opened my big mouth" She sighs

"Nah. I mean... It was there in the back of my mind anyway. You know What? I'm not worried. They aren't going to go through with it."

"There we go, optimism!" She approves!

"She'll-say- she's staying here but she'll be there so much it won't matter. Or vice versa."

"I imagine they'll be visiting eacho ther a lot" she nods totally agreeing

"Staying over." He adds. "Basically no change."

A nod nod nod "Exactly. Nothing to stress over"

"Right?" Agreeing. "They aren't breaking up." Final.

"So.. what are your plans today?"

"The usual? I guess. Kennels and mews, lessons. You?"

"Oh. Let's see. I think Sir Bachdion is a bit busy so no chess today"

"I'll play with you if you want."

"Sure, ah, but I have to warn you.. it's Strip Chess"

"I'm ok with that!" He laughs and kisses her. Then hisses a little. "Ow. I think I pulled something."

"Okay.. really tempted to send you to the Healer's hut, mister" She fusses

"Nah, I'll be fine."He grins.

"Ok, so chores and lessons and strip chess. "

"Well, later, however our chess game goes, I'm giving you a massage"

"Mmmm...." A purr of anticipation. "Look forward to it." He sighs. "Guess I should get up."

"If you can"

He tries.

Oh he's tender, but he can move.. a bit slower than usual

"Shower will help." He leans carefully and kisses her. "Be right back."

And he goes to shower

Clean and slightly more limber he returns and dresses. Most of the marks are covered.

Nab says "Better."

"What, you don't like me naked and exhausted in bed?" he grins, teasing.

"I want you healthy enough to abuse myself" She beams

A scream comes out in the hallways

"Shit!"Forgetting his well-won injuries, Adam dashes for the door and out into the hall.

And he aches for it, or will later, as he glances up and sees painted in BLOOD on the wall scary crazy words he does not understand...

"What the FUCK?!?!" He takes it in and looks for the screamer.

A skunk stares in horror at the writing on the wall
