Adam soon gets a better idea of which cocktails he likes, which ones he can take or leave, and which ones he will never sip again. Diluted by juices or the like as they are... they still begin to pile up as inebriation settles in and builds.

Pretty much...... he has an vague idea of what he likes but mostly an idea of foggy enjoyment.

The Pink Elephant and he play cards "Hey, nice to meet you"

Yup, it's a pink elephant.

" 'sup?"

"Not these cards" The Elephant chuckless "My best bet is your hand is as bad as mine otherwise I'm doomed." A nod "Little demon lady, you told her you love her. You mean it?" Pink Elephant asks

"Yeah. But I try not to say it. My bad, there."

"Hey, folks tend to lower their guard when knackered.What can I say? I get folks talking. She's hot my friend, very hot. If you don't mind mee saying?" The cards now have mugs next to them

The elephant takes a drink through the trunk, then says "Ah, good stuff. I tell you, Champ.. in all my years in the Dreaming , ain't never met a guy like you"

"Yeah. I'm unique." with a sigh.

"Sucks huh? I mean.. folks are allabout conflicting desires. We wanna be special, we want to belong. We don't like anyone telling us what to do, we'd like someone who has all the answers .. same as it ever was"

"Go on..." Pink Elephant says. He's as easy to talk to as a Pooka, but easier to understand

He takes another drink.

"Nab's perfect...... scared?" He attends as much as he can, alertish. "Why scared?"

"I don wanner to be scared."

"Lots of reasons. Mortals get scared of not being good enough, not worthy of being loved. Which is stupid. it's not about deserve. "The pink elephant says "but that doesn't mean it's not real, the fear. And maybe, she knows you have a lot of power over her. that's scary too. You're bonded.. but she's more in your power than you are hers. But that's love too. Man, a person you love says something insulting... it cuts to the bone. Some jerk says it, you can blow it off. that kind of thing"
