"Thank you for the trip to the apartment, Baron" As they return, Minerva did not cry, atl east not where he saw, but she seems thoughtful, not merely curious, but contemplative.

August motors along. "You are most welcome."

"Your wife .. she tries to be fair. I appreciate that. I apologize if I've seemed... presumptive at Earth Runes"

A small smile. "We are all Sidhe."

"Yes," A chuckle "I suppose some aspects are never truly dimmed. What IS Adam? he's sidhe, but he's ..slumbering"

August drives for a bit. "Let's speak of something else. How are you feeling now?"

"I..." She sighs "More conflicted than I like or thought possible"

"That may be part of.... making peace between who you were, and who you are."

"But I am who I was.. I mean.. the me of Arcadia.. it's just weaker is all" A frown

"It might be Minerva can give you strength." mildly.

"Minerva is gone or I wouldn't be in trouble with ... some people" She doesn 't mention Adam's name

"Yet you must be her."

"Only because others insist. However, yes" A sigh "I suppose but the echoes she has left behind are dangerous. Change is good, but it is better to CONTROL the change, not be controlled by it"

They approach the end of their trip

August pulls up in the driveway, and crosses to hand her out; he walks her in, and to her destination.

She walks with him "Thank you again, Baron. I fear I have much to dwell on" A pause "i wonder if Whiskers is feeling friendly?"

It's really not a question she expects him to answer

"I think the odds are in your favor." He murmurs absently.

A soft smile "Possibly. Thank you, Baron. Good eve" And taking her leave with a curtsy, she moves on.

Leaving August to go his own way.
