"It would not hurt" She says after a long pause

He steps over, softly, and waits and the door way.

The door is open, the girl is looking over a picture

August waits.

"Come in" She looks up from the picture. He can see it's a little girl on the shoulders of a much younger Lesley, shaking the hands of a HUGE NBA player from many years ago

August enters, observes. "This has meaning for you?"

"I..she... was so excited to meet Michael Jordan... it was almost impossible to do it you know? Not without the best seats. But.. mo.. Lesley, she faked breaking a heel...can you believe it? Pulled the old 'trip stumble' routine just to catch his attention. he went to help and the next thing the poor man knew he was meeting her fangirl daughter and giving an autograph. " Her eyes look very soft as she stares at it "It meant the world ..." A pause "To Minerva"

August nods and glances around the room.

It was clearly Minerva's room , atl east in use. it's not too personalized, they had so little at the end when they got evicted, but it appears the girl liked baseball that's fore sure. that aside, rather feminine, Minerva was a girl who liked a guy spoiling her and treating her and making her feel like a princess.

August nods to himself. "Take all the time you need."

More memories, but she braces as she touches things, goes over them "ugh. I refuse to adopt all her taste in music"

"People grow and change. Your taste in music can evolve." He agrees.

"mmm" SHe moves on "She liked feminine garb and wanted to show just a bit more flesh than her mother approved of" Touching the wardrobe "But I do not understand the ripped jeans bit"

"Defiantly casual, according to Dame Leonora."

"Ah yes" A nod "That rings true."

"Is there anything else that calls to you?"

"Mmm " She moves along then blinks "what's this? Pottery ? She wasn't interested in pottery" She pulls an urn out of a shelf.

August takes a sharp look at it; cremains?

"Ah. Don't open that."

"May I?" he offers to take it.

and the girl blinks the says "oh." For a moment he thinks she'll show some emotion of a deeper nature, some outburst of..well "I remember now." She recovers "A former pet. She was quite fond" With forced discipline

"Isee you understand."

"Well, mortals are sentimental at times. For the best I suppose. They're banal enough without sentimentality, but it is a ..silly trait"

"It can help keep their sense of wonder; a boon to us."

A dubious look but "Well anything that keeps the cold away. I had hped Sir Bachdion would hanlde that. Mother is a fetching woman for her age"

August clears his throat. "I believe he has plans in that regard. That said, in those moments, you could likely be at the Manor Freehold without a question from her."

"wonderful!" She says "Lesley won't slow my learning down."

"Did they call each other by their given names?" a head tilt.

A wince "noooo"

and she almost looks like a teenage girl caught over reaching

The baron's smile is gentle. "Best to practice, then."

"Yes, baron" She sighs

"May I make a suggestion?"

Would any power on Earth prevent it? But she smiles "Please, go ahead"

"Do you keep a diary?"

"That is, does -Minerva- keep a diary?"

"She did not. But.." A fuzzy memory "I think mother has a scrap book"

"Allow me to suggest that you examine it. And the bathroom."

"The bathroom?" A blink

He nods. "Many keep medications and other, ah, personal items in a bathroom."

"Oh" Ahem "yes. I'll do that. Pardon" she wanders off

August returns to the living/main room to wait.

While there, he does take in (without touching) how the ladies might have settled into Bachdion's space.

Respectfully.. they haven't moved or shoved too much of his stuff to the side, but one statue has a shirt now

Later, the Sidhe girl returns with the scrap book, and begins to read.

He can see she is fighting an emotional reaction, and winning, but the fact she has to fight it, is a good sign.

He might look to see if tissues are handy, consider getting a glass of water... but generally just waits quietly.
