August seeks out Minerva.

Well, he knows where her bedroom and finds it

A tap on the door.

"Who is it?" A voice says

"Baron August. "

"Oh, Baron, a moment please." Sounds of things being put away

And the door opens, and there is Minerva, dressed in a gown (She seems to prefer gowns)

August bows. "If you have a moment?"

"Please, come in," She makes way. Her room is an odd mix of sun and shadow, the light from the window casting it some, but not psreading to illuminate the whole thing, which appears to be how the sidhe likes it. It would appear she's already gotten a book case full of tomes, and the small rose wood desk shows use. There is the smell of incense lingering but no obvious cause.

"I don't wish to impose." He remains inn the doorway. "I wish to offer services. It is often useful to know of one's host when there are other mortal relations. Much can be gleaned from their belongings. If you like, I can take you to the O'Connelly's apartment. "

"The O'Connels" A frown "Yes I suppose that's going to be required. Can't something else be done with the host's mother? I know our magic is weaker in this world ,but can't she be made to forget she HAD a daughter?"

"Yes. She could." He answers honestly "I would not support such action. "

the look gives him shows she finds that unreasonable "I see. So I am to pretend to be attached to the woman and go under mundane threats for her sake? "

"You are still in your minority." He points out gently. "There is one mortal in all this world who can be counted on to give all she has to see you thrive, and into your own."

She looks uncomfortable at something, "Yes, I suppose I cannot fault that logic"

"Is something wrong?"

"I have.. some of my host's memories..and impressions. I confess, I worry proxmity to Lesley might give those echoes strength"

"I found mine to be a welcome gift. The help of a secret friend." A pause. "They will help you to pass as mortal."

"Yes, but what if it affects my judgement?"

"What if it does?"

"Well, don't you think that's alarming? " A brow "I am sidhe, a heir to the Tuatha De Danaan... some mortal malady inflicting mundane confusion on my clarity certainly alarms me"

"Your body is mortal." He points out reasonably. "Might not your memories affect you for good?"

"My lord, I'm not sure what house I am, but I am sure I'm not Liam. With respect, what serves in your house is ...from what I'm reading, not so fitting for others"

He nods with a gentle smile. "You asked."

"I did" She admits

"Would you like to visit the apartment? You should have a key."

"I do, and I suppose I best " She gets the key, and checks her 'mortal clothing' to see that' it's okay. Deciding it is, she grabs a mask and looks back with a sigh "I'll miss this room"

"You will return." He assures her, and offers his arm. "

She takes it and goes with him, "Ah, but will Whiskers approve of my vanishing when he remains unpetted?"

The baron stops, startled. "Your Pardon.... who??"

"Whiskers... he came in through my window, saucy fellow but pleasant to touch" She says

BLINK.

"Ah. Well. Yes."

"I'm sorry, is he not supposed to do that?" A surprised look "is he meant to be an outdoor cat? "

"....... Cat?"

"Yes, big golden housecat... his collar says 'Whiskers'. Not sure exactly what Breed he is"

August face palms with his free hand. "How big?"

She makes a gesture of a good sized Tom, though certainly NOT Lion sized

A sigh. "I see. I'm sure he will be fine." August continues their trip to the car.

She goes to the car door's passenger side, and waits.

Of course, he gets it for her and seats her before slipping behind the wheel and taking them to the apartment.

And they head to it. Bachdion's apartment is nice as ever, and yes ,she has the key. She enters in and looks about "At one time, she thought this the most magical place possible. Now, while it's nice, it seems to pale." She moves along, and yes, touches things, but most of them belong to the satyr, not hers

"Go ahead and explore." He encourages softly, and.... fades into the background.

"I.. well, very well" She goes walking about. Opening drawers, checking every nook and cranny. Rather catlike herself

She is free to roam. The baron is very self-effacing..

And then from a smaller room "oh"

August waits, letting her process.

Then an inhale of breath, as if calming oneself "Yes, I do remember some things here as being important"

"Would you like me to come in?" Quietly.

"If you wish"
