"Yes, Lord" A pause "Do .. do you think I'd be good at anything in particular?"

"I think you would be good at a great many things." August affirms. "And I think you have time to experiment and try different things."

He looks relieved "I'll try a few of them , my liege. Maybe I'll go into the legal field like you are"

"No expectation of that, Tylar, but if it is something that interests you then by all means." He nods. "What about goals within our Fae society?"

"I mean to focus on mortal needs more, my liege, but if a position is required, I might serve as a thane like Rollo" A pause "Well, not like ROLLO but you know what I mean."

August nods. "You are a squire, which in and of itself is a position of responsibility and some authority. Do you seek to advance?"

"I'd like to be a knight one day, Lord."

August nods. "Let's take some time to think about this, and speak again in a few days regarding that."

"I will" He nods "Thank you, My liege" He bows

August nods respectfully in return.

And he withdraws

"Hm." August retakes his seat and pulls the work back towards him after a moment.

His dark head bends again to the repair and copy work.

It is coming along very well given the difficulty

But, well, he is a very GOOD Scribe
