Adam swallows. "Yes, Dame."

"That said, 'like it' is a dubious term"

"You mean.... it's not the right term?"

"Sting?" Confused.

"I don't have the poetry to explain it" She shrugs

"You sounded pretty poetic just before." Shyly.

"Hazard of the Fiona enviroment" Another shrug "Excuse me. I need to start that patrol"

"Yes, Dame. " he bows.

And off she goes

Adam continues on to take the dog out of the freehold to get pictures. Maybe Sir will let me use his computer to post about him?

"Baron August?" The Seer Almandine looks about

August looks up from the book repair/binding he is doing. "Seer. How can I help you?"

"I'm sorry to trouble you, but ... I've been doing some works on astrological alignments and predictions. "

"Oh. I, ah, I haven't seen Zara for a while." A fond smile. "She is often invisible when she wishes to be."

"I wasn't looking for her" he says

"No?" puzzled.

"No Baron. It involves your Branch house"

"Pardon, your Banner House"

"How is bannerhouse Truthbranch involved in alignements and predictions?"

"I am a Seer," he reminds "And the Bannerhouse is important to you. So I look in on it. I saw a pennons flag rise, bearing your symbol...and prizes aplenty were available. But behind a grand tapestry I saw a greater treasure still. You should have you and yours strive to win it"

August frowns. "I have no pennons flag."

"I think it's metaphorical, Lord" he says "That at Pennons there's a prize that's..not as obvious. "

"Oh." He nods. "Pennons here?"

"I'll do more research" He says "SHould I be on the look out for anything?"

"Ah. Well. It is folly to demand clear answer from Da'an." A faint smile "So I'm told. But whatever you do find, I would appreciate knowing."

"I thought you might, Baron" A pause "Don't worry, this isn't a secret Eiluned plot to get you and your Banner House to do something for House Eiluened without paying for it"

"I would hope not, Sir." Soberly.

He bows and leaves

August cocks his head curiously, thinking.

It would appear that Squire Tylar is coming in

"Squire." He greets.

'Baron" he says with a smile "Your armor is at high shine"

"Thanks to you, no doubt." With a smile in return.

"My pleasure, my liege. I was wondering if I might ask for an early evening or if you'd have need of me tonight?"

"No, Squire, I am just doing some repair work, a bit of copying, and then calling it a night myself."

"Very good, Lord" He nods

"If you venture outside the Freehold, do take precautions to blend in, please." Kindly, not directing as much as requesting.

"Got my mask ready" he nods

"Good man." Approving.

"Ah, Tylar, I don't mean to keep you but I do have a question. Of sorts."

"Oh no trouble, Lord. What can I do for you?"

"Ah, no, not for me per se. Rather..... Squire, you are aware that I, myself, never sought title, yes? I would have been content, at the time, to serve a court as a scribe."

"Yes, my liege. You're very humble" A concerned look "Have I been acting high and mighty since you made me a squire?" Worried "i've tried not to let it go to my head"

"Not at all, Tylar. There is such a thing as false humility, you know. Proud bragging. You don't do that, as far as I'm aware. I do wonder what your goals are. We should speak of that sometime."

"Yes sir" he says pondering "In truth, I'm not sure of where I see myself in ten years or the like. I want to help people, but that's an ends, not a means I know"

August nods. "Well. Takes some time to think on it, but not -too- long."
