At the stables, he opens the door for her.

She looks about

and blinks "Is that a Tauntaun?"

The dim interior is lit by a few bulbs, and smells of sweet hay, old leather, and horse breath.

.... and of Tauntaun.

"Yeah. Uh, as I understand it there was a holiday and it kind of appeared and hasn't left yet? One of the Thanes sees to it more of the time. Or it sees to him."

"Weird" She says but does not disapprove, then she moves onto the other horses

August is proud of his completed book, bearing the past life of one Zara Scwhartz

Zara has been watching him work - he may not have been alerted to this.

He has wrapped it carefully in silk, and leaves it on the table as he goes to get the tea cart in from the doorway.

He sets the tea things up for two, and then settles in to wait.

And Zara is there, in her wingback.

A blink, and he smiles. "Tea?"

"Aye. You have finished?"

"I have." He takes the wrapped book up, and brings it to her. "With my compliments." Offering it.

She takes it, quietly scintillating.

That makes August smile, and he quietly goes about pouring tea.

Coradel sees her husband and Zara through the doorway

"There are, I think, many things within I do not remember.. at least outside the dreaming..."

A smile and she raps lightly at the doorframe as she enters.

"Ah, Coradel." Hand on her chest and a nod.

A nod back. "Hello, Zara. Hello, my love," she goes to August, pressing a kiss to his cheek.

August takes the kiss as offered, and returns it in kind. "Hello." For just a moment, he's caught, enraptured, then he clears his throat "Tea?" he offers her.

"Yes, please," she says eagerly. "Am I interrupting something?"

"No. I just finished a bit of work for Zara." He pours for Coradel, too.

"August copied a very delicate book..."

"You should have the original, too." He offers a box that is the right size to hold that work.

"Aye. Too fragile, I think, for much handling..."

"Is that what you've been locked away with? He's been obsessing over that project."

"And he did beautifully..."

He also gets Coradel a chair before seating himself with tea.

"I don't doubt it," she smiles at him as she takes a seat.

A sip of tea. "Is it a fiction book? A history?"

"A diary."

A grin. "Probably a little of both, then."

August tastes his tea, nods.

"A little, aye. Though it will be its own effort to translate it."

"Oh. It's not in English? How did you copy it then, August? Was it Latin?"

"German and Polish, I think. I just copied the symbols; I don't have to understand them."

"I think Polish, aye. The German is easier, closer to Yiddish..."

"Mmm." Coradel nods and sips her tea.

"I might have caught a few words here and there. Thanks to the Yiddish."

"Makes sense." A sigh as she looks from one to the other. "I actually had a request to make, Zara. Something from the library."

"Aye?"

She takes another sip. "A course I'm taking...the professor has tasked me to choose a text on equestrian matters to do an independent study. I think Xenophon should do. Do we have a copy?"

"We do not, but it can be acquired - I presume you wish his two horsemanship books?"

"There are two? I only knew the name. Then yes, both. How hard do you think it would be to come by?"

"We have.. ah... The Education of Cyrus and Oeconomicus... but little of horses in either."

"His work is extant. I would presume you wish an English translation?"
