Adam starts introducing the dogs to her one by one, showing her where they like to be touched, describing their personalities, likes, and dislikes. Some puppies show off their favorite toys.

And a voice says "Well done, Mister Thomas. you have been listening" It's Sir Sergei

"Sir!" some surprise, but not unpleasantly so. "Sir, this is Alanza. She came looking for you."

Alanza bows "Sir. "

"Regarding?" he asks the young woman

"I was hoping for a job." She says "With the animals"

"I have an assistant, and he's quite capable" Sergei says

"Thank you, Sir."

"Oh" She says with a blush

"However" The Varich considers "It would free my assitant for those times when Damsels need to be rescued "

"Damsels?" Alanza looks over at Adam with a curious look

Adam grins sheepishly at Sir Sergi.

"Uh.... you know. Sometimes people need help?"

"Damsel people" The Eshu looks at him amused

"Damsels do seem particularly prone to needing help" The Varich has a great straight man face

"Practically part of the definition of the word." Adam agrees somberly.

"Good thing you're so generous with your time" Alanza says, yup. Eyes sparkling with amusement "You are very big hearted, Adam"

"Not just my heart." He assures her impishly.

She snerks ,and gives him a swat.

"A-hem" Sir Sergei says cooly.

"Sorry Sir." (He isn't really)

And Alanza blushes and bows again "Sorry, Sir. Uhm.. could I please assit on ... I don't know, part time or ..."

"Yes. yes... Adam will show you the ropes" He says waving it off "I reserve the right to withdraw the invitation, but for now"

Adam beams at Alanza and winks.

She smiles a bit again

"Now, tend to the dogs, both of you as you were, then be off doing whatever wilders do" He waves a hand in 'whatever' gesture

"Yes, Sir. Uh. The dogs and birds are all set. I was finishing when Alanza arrived."

"Ah, then go where you will" He nods and moves up to the birds

Adam looks at Alanza and tips his head for You want to get out of here?

She admits "I want to pet the dogs JUUST a bit more."

He nods. "You got it." And he'll stay with her, talking about the pups, until she has her fill.

It takes a bit, faces to be wubbaed, bellies to be rubbed.

Adam helps with that. And sometimes, if fingers connect, if hands touch......

She allows it, blushing some but letting it happen

Adam seems enchanted by the shade in her cheeks.

"So, you give every girl a tour?" A sparkle as they move on from the kennels

"So far, just the ones with the universe in their eyes." He sparkles right back.

"Ha!" A grin "Smooth, sir. Very smooth"

"You make it easy." he compliments "Where to now? I mean, if you don't mind me coming along?"

"Well ah, we've seen the dogs and falcons, how about the horses?"

"I know where the stables are." He agrees. "I don't work with the horses as much, though. Not yet."

He leads her in that direction. "So where did you come here from? I moved down from New Jersey."

They move on the way "New Jersey? that as bad as every one jokes?"

"On the mortal side? Not far off. You can't make a left turn there, you have to turn right to turn left. True story."

A laugh "I'm from Florida.. White Sands. Though I'm new to the changeling thing"

He nods. "Me too. Obviously. Still, it's... amazing, right?"

"It is!" She nods "oh, and to be fair? Florida man? Totally a thing"

"I went there a couple times, but only, like, passing through or on vacation. And I was just a kid."

"Oh that's waht a lot of folks do.. and it IS kind of rocking in spots"

"I remember having a good time, yeah."
